Episode 14

Lucas' POV

"So let me get this straight." I looked at Keigo in disgust as food fell from the corner of his lips as he slurped on the juice he bought. "Gods, can't ever eat properly?" I muttered and he rolled his eyes at me while Hayato heartily laughed at my reaction.

"You and the eldest are touchy-feels with each other and you, somehow, don't even give a shit if he drags you somewhere just to feed, sleep, or even make-out." He said and I rolled my eyes. "To summarize it, yes. That's is pretty much what I had said although your uses of certain terms irk me."

"Oh come off it." He said as Hayato handed him a napkin to wipe his mouth. "Why aren't you two dating yet?" I choked on the juice that I had unfortunately decided to drink at the moment.

"Me? Dating? With whom?" They deadpanned at me. "I forgot that your only clever in things that aren't related to romantic relations." They said in sync and I tilted my head in confusion.

"Laito was right when he said you two are hopeless. Well, more on you than Shu." Hayato commented and I rose an eyebrow at him as I placed the juice box down.

"Since when were you and Laito close?" He smiled. "He and I might've come to a certain agreement and that brought us close." Keigo snickered.

"Did he mention that Yuukiteru-san threatened him in regards to me?" They both stopped and stared at me in disbelief. "Yuu-san did what?" I rolled my eyes.

"Its no surprise." Hayato said with a shrug and Keigo nodded. "The man's a literal monster whenever it comes to you. You're one of his kits after all." I hummed at him.

"Speaking of Yuukiteru-san, how's Sein and his companion?" The duo turned to me and grinned. "It was fun." "Hilarious."

"You should've seen them. They're like an old married couple who bickers a lot." Hayato commented and Keigo scoffed. "Married couple? More like newly weds who were best friends and forgot that they're married!"

We laughed at Keigo's words and I shook my head at the image of Sein in a suit getting ready for marriage.

In all the years I've known him, Sein would most likely be crying when the bride appears. Not because she's beautiful, but because he's finally getting married and would lose his freedom.

"Uh-oh, don't look now~ I think your future boyfriend is coming here." I rose an eyebrow at Keigo's words and Hayato's teasing looks.

"Lucas." I turned around and saw Shu standing behind me. "Shu?" He grunted and I raised my arms and he quickly sat beside me and laid his head on my lap and hugged my torso.

"Someone annoy you?" He grunted. "Another one of those pests." I chuckled knowing he meant another girl confessed to him."That so."

"Sheesh! Get a room you two! Single people here! Respect the single ones please!" I rolled my eyes at Keigo as Hayato chuckled.

"You say that as if you aren't already engaged to someone." Hayato pointed out and Keigo scoffed. "Please. You guys know how my future marriage is only for the sake of bloodlines."

"Hayato, too. Aren't you engaged to that person? The daughter of-" "Ah no it was called off because she ran away to elope with another lover of hers." I hummed at that.

"What about you?" I looked down at Shu. "Hmm? What about me?" He opened an eye then closed them. "He's talking about engagement Lucas, are you engaged to anyone?" Hayato clarified and I scoffed.

"No. I'm not engaged to anyone, nor will I be engaged to anyone unless I chose to be engaged." I said with a shrug.

"Perks of being the beloved grandson." I rolled my eyes at Keigo. "May I remind you that I was engaged to your fiancée before they decided to marry you instead?" "Yeah, exactly why I don't like fiancé because I was a second option."

He fake cried and we shook our heads at him. "You say that but in reality, you two are actually having the time of your lives." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh please, their insatiable its a miracle I'm still standing." Hayato and I stared at him in disgust. "That's too much information Keigo." He shrugged.

"You don't see me complaining much about you and your lover boy over there." He glanced at Shu and I rolled my eyes.

"We're not like that." "Yet." "Yet. Yet?!" I looked down at Shu with blush on my cheeks and heard the other two snicker. "You two aren't even official yet, but you two already act like it."

I glared at them and they shook their heads. "Aren't you supposed to be in class now Shu?" I asked and he huffed. "Aren't you?" "Jokes on you Shu, my last subject is self-study." He froze and clicked his tongue.

"I'm not going." I clicked my tongue at him. "That brother of yours is going to nag you for skipping." "Then tutor me. It can't be that difficult."

The two spluttered at his words. "You don't want Lucas tutoring you." Keigo said. Lucas can be strict  and whatnot when tutoring others. Take this one for example, he got smacked with a book to his face for complaining too much."

"I don't think I would actually do anything to this one given he would only daze out and work then sleep." I commented and Shu smirked. "Do I get a reward for doing good or getting something right?"

I blinked at him before my cheeks flushed. "What nonsense are you spouting. I never agreed to tutoring you." "You also didn't disagree."

I scoffed. "I don't think Reiji would approve of me tutoring you."

"Tutoring the deadbeat?" I nodded. "He brought it up and just needed to hear your thoughts in this. He seemed pretty sure that you would-" "I think it's for the best." "-agree."

I stayed silent as he sipped on his cup of tea and narrowed my eyes. "Yes?" He glanced at me. "Yes. Given he always skips and pays no attention to classes and it is quite possible to say he won't graduate due to that, therefore, yes, you are going to tutor him."

"...Fuck."

Of all times you agree, it had to be today- night.
