Lucas' POV

"Are you sure about this Lucas?"

"Positive. Whatever you say can no longer change my mind." My cousin only sighed as he sat on the edge of my bed.

"Its no use trying to stop him Kei. Once his mind is set on something, there's no stopping him." My other cousin said as he turned the next page of the book he was reading.

Keigo nodded. "I know but still," he crossed his legs and then turned to me. "Why the sudden acceptance of becoming a bodyguard?"

"Not a bodyguard but a guardian." I corrected as I pulled on my dress shirt and began buttoning it.

Keigo stood up and helped me. "Thank you." He only hummed.

"Komori Seiji has been doing well on his work and is moving abroad to continue his training. It is only a matter of time that the family has done something for him in return to all the times he had succeeded every mission he was given."

Keigo buttoned the cuffs and then straightened the part on my shoulder.

"I understand that part but what I do not understand is why does it have to be you who guards his daughter and not one of your people?"

Hayato closed his book with a thud and turned to us. "I, too, have been wondering that."

"See? Even Hayato has been thinking about it." Keigo pointed out as he sat on the bed once more.

"Though I don't see that me asking would change his mind so I didn't really think about it." Hayato added then opened his book and Keigo facepalmed.

"Why is it we can never come to the same page?"

"Easy. I read diligently whether its for studies or simply to pass time and finish it within the week. You on the other hand always stop half way because you doze of or just don't have the motivation to read and finish reading a book within a month or two."

"That is not true!" Keigo exclaimed as he laid on his back on my bed and Hayato hummed.

"When did you start reading the book I gave you?" He asked and I shook my head at the duo as I grabbed a jacket from my closet and place it, folded, on top of my luggage.

"Two."

"Two what?"

"...weeks ago?"

"Liar. You read it the day I lent it to you which was approximately two months and four days ago."

"Who counts the days on how long they finish reading a book?" Keigo asked in exasperation and I hummed as I wore my shoes.

"People from the Saionji household." I spoke and then placed my hands on the bed to lean and stare at the ceiling.

"Though I wouldn't really put it against Keigo. The Saionji family is really known for politics and laws while the Daidoji is known for creating, generally speaking, anything." I explained before turning to Keigo.

"So it is understandable why he doesn't read much." Keigo smiled and nodded.

"That does make a fair point but still, you even read more than he does." Keigo glared at Hayato.
