[A/N a very very short chapter since I won't be mentioning this in the next chapter]
"Oh being able to come out is such a bliss~" Yui said as she came out of the bathroom in her new dress. The vampire who stood by the window, patiently waiting for her, smirked at her. "Indeed it is Cordelia."
Cordelia only smiled alluringly at the man and chuckled. "It's a great thing you found a suitable vessel for me. However, I must say, she grew out to be such a fragile little thing. I would've thought you could do better than this, dear, Richter."
The vampire only chuckled. "I had planned at first for that woman to be your vessel, but after her death her body turned to dust which had caused a lot of changes to my plans." Cordelia frowned at him. "You planned to make that witch my vessel? Please, she may have captured the hearts of the children, and quite possibly yours too." She whispered the last part but with Richter being a vampire, heard her and chuckled.
"I would never look at any woman other than you. You are the only one for me, my love." Cordelia chuckled. "If only your brother gave me the same attention and affection as you, I wouldn't have met you."
Richter frowned at her words making her smirk. "But seeing as he has not, I am utmost delighted to have met you Richter." She held her gloved hand out to him and he took it, kissing the back of her clothed hand. "And I to you." Cordelia smiled at him before turning to the moon and frown.
Richter saw her attention was elsewhere and glanced at what she had been staring at. "The moon is beautiful tonight." She hummed. "Truly, if only it didn't remind me of such repulsive eyes that belonged to a certain someone."
Richter wondered if he should feel jealousy or anger for this anonymous person Cordelia mentioned. However, seeing such anger and fury in those sherbet pink eyes made him wonder instead on what this person did to invoke such emotions in his beloved.
"Should I take care of this person too, my dear?" She scoffed. "He is none of our concern dear. He does not care for my affairs nor does he have an ounce of interest about the mortal realms." Richter rose an eyebrow at her.
"The man that I despise the most. He always stares at me as if I've done something wrong to make his life miserable. He always glares at me like everything is my fault. Hah. How absurd." He was now curious of who she was referring to.
"Who is this person that has you so furious." Cordelia turned to him. "My brother, half-brother. I hate him down to the core of hell." She spat with venom lacing her words before she calmed down. "But we really have no need to mention him now do we?" She placed a hand on Richter's cheek.
"As I have said, he has no interest in the mortal realm so whatever it is I do is of no matter to him." She then smirked. "But once you and I are the king and queen, he will have no choice but to glare from below. I will make him wish he never treated me so."
Richter could only smirk at her words.
'If only you knew what I truly have in mind.'
[Sakamaki manor, Reiji's chambers]
While Reiji had been on the edge from a sudden malevolent aura, he had kept glancing at the unconcious boy who lay on his bed.
'Will this really work? Will having another entity take over his body really be as useful as father says it will be?' He thought as he stared at the empty vial in his hand.
The vial had arrived two days ago with a note from their father saying to make sure Lucas drank it. Reiji was hesitant at first since Lucas had mentioned he was immune to poison but after he had completely read the note, his father had stated that the blood sample was perfect and it was of great help to him in creating the potion.
