3rd Person's POV

"You told her?" Lucas narrowed his eyes at the second eldest as he sipped on his cup of tea. "I did not tell her anything. Though I simply said some things that would hint at her about what you were really here for." Lucas glared at him.

"That was not something for you to share. Given that situation is between me and her, you had no reason to involve yourself in this." The vampire hummed as he looked up at the other.

"Would you have told her if I had not done so?" Lucas' lips thinned into a line as he stared at Reiji in silent anger.

Though Reiji found the situation amusing, h can't help but feel a chill upon his spine at the bubbling anger in the eyes of the teen sitting opposite of him.

"I would have done so when I had been ready to bring it up but you just had to interfere." Lucas said with a hint of venom in his voice. "I had already noticed what I was doing was wrong but did you really think I would just suddenly bring it up all because I noticed?" He glared harder.

"You seem to like making potions, tell me Reiji. Do you ignore some steps just to quicken the results?" "What has this got to do wi-" "You don't, otherwise it'll result in a failure." Reiji furrowed his eyebrows.

"How humans deal with situations like this is the same as how potions should be dealt with in order to perfect them. You wait for the right time and pour in the right amount in order to perfect them. While in the case of humans, we need time to think about certain things as the amount of courage we need to confront with this problem." He stated and narrowed his eyes at the vampire.

"Whether I confronted her about this was not up to you to decide." He stood up and glared once more at the other. "Don't meddle in my business, and I won't meddle in yours." Reiji rose an eyebrow and Lucas huffed. "Don't think I don't know what your father asked of you Reiji. Karl Heinz is quite known to the Hiiragizawa and I do not mean that in a good way."

Slamming the door lightly, Reiji sighed as he leaned on his chair with a frown. A sense of distaste upon his mouth at the words Lucas had just said.

'Why do I suddenly feel bad for what I did?'

Marching towards his room, Lucas paused when he saw Yui. "Yui." He called out but froze when he saw how empty her eyes were and stayed in place when she passed by him.

He slowly turned around to watch Yui's retreating form and pursed his lips. "What are you doing out here?" He gasped and turned around to see Shu standing behind him.

"Shu." "Why are you out here?" Shu asked again and Lucas fell silent as he looked away with a frown.

Not pleased with the response, Shu leaned down by the others neck making Lucas flinch as he sniffed his neck before glancing at Lucas. "You were with Reiji?"

"If I didn't know any better I'd say you're part dog with how sensitive that nose of yours is." Shu rolled his eyes. "Reiji's room is literally the only place that reeks of chemicals or tea. Sometimes both and the smell hurts my nose." Lucas hummed before looking down when he felt arms wrap around his torso.

"So why were you there?" The ravenette sighed as he let Shu teleport them to his [Shu's] room.

Pulling away from the blonde, Lucas went and flopped onto the bed.

He lightly felt the soft sheets of the bed and sighed once more, ignoring the weight that laid beside him. He knew Shu was staring at him and chose to ignore the vampire as he closed his eyes and mindlessly grabbed a pillow near hir reach and snuggled into it.
