Destiny intertwined (Gaara X OC)

Drunken Fist

A few days have passed since the incident. The rain is poring on us. The sky is crying with us for the lost Hokage. I stand with my team. Crying. Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi. I can hear sadness and sorrow playing in the background. It's not actually there but in my head it is.

All of us put our flowers next to the Hokage's picture. This kind old man who didn't know me but took me into his village. The same man who let me train as a ninja.

"I'm so sorry."

That all I had to say in my thoughts. Tears coming out. I actually saw him like a grandfather since I don't have mine in my life no more.

Time Skip

Weeks has passed and now we have Lady Tsunade. The kind woman who gave Lee his surgery and the new Hokage. I really look up to her. She is one of my many role models in the show.

Today Naruto is dragging me to her once again so we can find Sasuke. The reason he has me is because he thinks I can convince him to come back to the village.

Somehow all his pleading got success. We had a team. It was me, Naruto, Neji, Choji, Shika, Kiba, And Shido. Sakura wanted to come but we declined. Same with Lee but I know he will come none the less.

Heading into the forest we found the people who took Sasuke. Splitting up I go with Naruto and Shika. When we caught up Kimimaro shows. Naruto is demanding them to give Sasuke back.

"Naruto. You and Hannah go after him. I'll take care of the girl." That's my future brother-in-law. Nodding we follow the white haired male into a clearing. He has the box containing my grumpy friend.

"Give him back!" Naruto is starting to turn. The nine tail can be seen in his face. "Naruto..." I whisper for him. Low enough he can't hear me. Things are getting heated fast. Before I know it there are hundreds of Narutos. "Wait Naruto!" I try to warn him but it's too late.

One by one all of his clones are going down. This is bad. Really bad. I know Gaara will come but I hope it will be soon. But right now I got to wait for my drunk friend Lee. All the clones are now gone.

The fight is still going on. At some point Sasuke breaks out of the container laughing. "NARUTO LOOK OUT!" Yelling Kimimaro is right behind him. Before I could do anything Lee kicks him. "Lee!" I have never been so happy in my life to see him.

"Lee what are you?" Naruto is confused. "Now is not the time. Naruto you go get Sasuke. Take Hannah with you." Now this is where I draw the line. "Sorry babes but I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying with you Lee. Naruto go!" Yelling the last part he nods and runs off. "You two be careful."

When he was off Kimimaro tries to attack only to have Lee block it. "Don't ignore me." Lee is so serious. The man tries to hit him back as a response. They start to fight. I can't just sit here and do nothing.

Taking out some kunai I run at the man only to get blocked as well. All three of us are going at it. How can he take us both and not even get a single scratch?

About to hit Lee he stops him. Time for his "medication". Drinking it all he starts to stagger. We'll time for Drunk Lee. I think I'll stay out of this part.

"What are you staring at!" I can't help but giggle. His drunken state is just so funny. "It's not nice to stare at people." It's true. Lee is faster when he is drunk and I get to experience it first hand.

Kimimaro is dodging all of his hits. They are both so good. I don't even compare to them. Stopping Lee falls to the ground. ASLEEP! "Lee! Lee get up! Now is not the time for a nap!" I run over to him. He is completely out.

Man come on. This is funny but damn.

Kimimaro walks up to us. "Stay back!" Glaring at the man he ignores me. All he does is point his blade at us. Lee grabs it and gets back up. "You fell for it!" I am even taken back even if I seen the episode who knows how many times. They start to fight again.

Lee fell asleep a couple of more time. He is now rolling around in his sleep. I am now full on laughing at the scene. By doing so I got a bone thrown my way. "EEEEP!" Dodging it I throw a kunai back at the bastard. "Hey I was just laughing. That's funny."

"Tch I'll show you funny girl." He leaves Lee alone. He is walking my way. I have to stand my ground. "I'm not scared of you." His green eyes look into my blue ones. "You should be." Swinging at me I duck. When he was going for the rebound Lee kicks him away.

"Don't touch the pretty girl!" My cheeks flare up at his words. I know Lee is directive but this is to direct. Fighting once more Lee finally gets cut on his cheek. It knocks him out of his drunken state.

After some more blows Lee is on the ground. I was about to run to him till I heard a voice I know all to well. "GAARA!" Smiling I run over to him instead. Hugging him I missed him so much. "What are you doing here?" He looks at me concerned. "Helping."

"What a lovely couple." Kimimaro broke my focus. Gaara steps in front of me while his sand comes out of his gourd. "Ah you wield sand. Hence the name."

Letting the sand do all the work I watch from my safe spot. Gaara's hands should be crossed during this scene but he has both down. It's making a grabbing motion. Looking back up at him his face is the same. He is to focused on Kimi.

Looking back down he continues. I think I get what he means. Placing my hand in his he intertwined our fingers together. His thumb running over mine. I am so happy he feels the same as me.

Going to his side knowing the sand will protect me I look up at him. He has grown since I last saw him. He got taller. A smile comes to my face. He is so handsome. "Your going to distract me if you keep staring at me like that." His voice is quiet. "Sorry. I'm just glade to see you here."

Bone bullets keep flying our way. The sand is protecting us at all cost. "Gaara of the desert. Rather a foolish nickname isn't it." Both of us glare that the man. "I had enough of this." Placing his arm around my waist he put his other in front of him.

Gaara has been creating sand from the ground beneath us so he can do his sand coffin. It will fail but he doesn't know that. Getting enough sand around Kimi Gaara closes his hand. "Sand Burial!"
