Destiny intertwined (Gaara X OC)

Big Scolding

Lee, Gaara, and I all come back to the village. Naruto still ain't back yet but the rest of the boys are and they are all badly hurt. "Gaara! Hannah!" Temari runs up to us with a smile on her face but soon turns into a frown when she sees my bloody arm.

"Temari..." My voice is small. "What... GAARA WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!" Oh no she is mad. "Temari it's not..." At this point I don't think she is listening to me. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO PROTECT HER FROM HARM."

The blond is yelling at Gaara. My heart shattering as he just takes it. On the way back to the village he carried me the whole time. His face would look mad everytime he saw my arm. Maybe he is taking this scolding as punishment for me getting hurt.

"Come on Hannah I'll take you to the hospital to get you checked." Temari takes my good arm and drags me away from Gaara. It doesn't stop him from following.

Getting to the hospital they stick all three of us in a room. I'm sitting on the table feeling horrible because Temari is still yelling at Gaara. He is still just standing there but looking at me this time. I wonder what he is thinking.

"I heard one of my girls was in here." Tsunade came in. She has a smile on her face. "Yeah I got a bullet to the arm." Showing her he looks at it. "Looks like we are going to have to dig it out. It's in there deep." She examines it. "We will get you admitted to the hospital and start surgery as soon as we can."

'SURGERY!'

"NO NO NO Please auntie anything but surgery! I don't want that! I have a fear of them!" I start to hyperventilate. I don't like the idea of it. Gaara is instantly at my side. Taking my hand in his I shove my face in his chest.

"I know it ain't the ideal situation but we have to take that bone bullet out." Gaara is petting my head. He is trying his best to calm me. "She'll do it. I'll be in the room with her after it's out." His voice is soft. "Hannah?" Tsunade is looking at us. I don't like it but I have too. "Okay."

Time Skip

After I had the surgery Gaara did just as promised. He stayed in the room with me and made sure I was well taken care of. The only part that wasn't approved by him was the male medical ninja taking care of me.

Everytime he would come to check up on me or give me pain meds Gaara would glare at him. I have to keep reminding Gaara that he is the only one I really like. "Gaara I swear he is just doing his job just as yours is being Kasekage. Besides he wasn't the one to save me at the fight with Kimi."

A smile graces my lips. A real smile I only give Gaara. The usually cold boy moves his eyes to me. Getting up from his seat he walks over to my bed and sits beside me.

He looks at my arm that is now resting in a sling. A pained expression comes on his face. "I'm so sorry. I should have paid better attention." A tear slips out of his eyes. "Gaara it's not your fault." My good hand goes to his face. He soon takes it off though and laces his fingers with mine. Bringing our hands up to his lips he kisses mine. More tears spill out from his eyes.

He removes our hands from his face. Bringing his mouth closer to mine he captures my lips with his. He puts a hand on the back of my head to keep my head in place.

One kiss turns into two. Two turns into three. Soon before you know it we are making out like that night on the roof. He swiftly moves me to his lap and runs his hands on my sides.

"I swear you two are going to be teen parents the way you guys go at it." Temari breaks us out of our romantic feelings. Falling off his lap I hide under my blankets. You can feel the heat coming off of me from how red I am.
