Destiny intertwined (Gaara X OC)

Chunin Exams pt 2: Getting to the third part

After having my fun, I go back to my teammates. I know they are alright, but it was Sasuke. I was worried for the most. He just got bitten by Orochimaru, and now he has the curse mark.

When I arrived back, Sakura and Naruto were glad to see me; I told them that I was with Gaara and them after we separated. Sakura was relieved, but Naruto was madder than a nest of hornets. He really doesn't understand why I love Gaara so much.

He is your future friend dude.

"How is Sasuke?" Examining him he is in a lot of pain. "Not good. I'm sure you know why." All I do is nod in response. "I told you I couldn't tell you guys what happens. I'm afraid I'll mess everything up. I think I already am by just being here." I know it, and they know it. "If you weren't supposed to be here, then you would have never been sent here." Sakura is right.

If I weren't supposed to be here, then I wouldn't be here now. "So now what?" Naruto looks at me. "We get the heaven scroll, that's what. We will wait till he is a little better and go. We only have a certain amount of time, and there are only a certain amount of scrolls running around." Biting my nail, the pressure is now heavy on my shoulders.

I know we are going to make it. I have faith in my team.

Time skip

"Finally, we made it!" Arriving at the tower, I am so exhausted. Walking in, I see Temari smiling at me. "Hey, I'm going to go say hi to big sis." Pointing to Temari, the gang just looks at me confused.

"Since when did she become your big sis?" Naruto is in my face. I am just used to it at this point. "Well, since we talked in the bathroom. She is a good friend, and I love her like a sister."

Plus, the fact that she is trying to get Gaara and me together.

A blush starts to form on my cheeks at the thought of Gaara and me together. "I'll be right back. I promise." I know Naruto is worried, but I can take care of myself. He knows this.

"Hey." Waving at the Trio, I get a hug again. "I'm so glad you're safe. Gaara and I were so worried." My cheeks turn red. I never heard of Gaara worrying about anyone except Naruto in the later episodes.

"Big sis I'm fine. I can handle my own. I'm a ninja remember?" She just smiles so big. "I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CALL ME BIG SIS! YOU AND GAARA HAVE TO GET MARRIED RIGHT AWAY!"

That's it I'm out!

I try to get out of her grasp. Struggling, I look like a fish out of water. This girl will be the death of me if Gaara doesn't beat her to it first. "T-Temari, please... Your embarrassing me." I wonder if this what it is actually like to have a sister.

"Temari put her down." Coming to save the day, Gaara orders her. Dropping me, I scurry behind him. I must admit I love a dominant guy.

"Hey, Hannah!" Hearing my name, I see Hinata! "Hinata!" Running from the trio, I hug my pure girl. "I'm so happy to see you're safe. No one hurt you, right?" Checking over her, she just giggles at me. Rubbing my cheek on hers, I don't care if I look like an idiot. "Hannah, I have a question."

I stop in my tracks. "Question?" Pulling away, we stare at each other. "Did you know that Gaara is out for blood?" Sweat starts to come down my face. "Maybe but he is a sweet guy." I always known. "Hannah you better stay away from him. He killed three people out there." She is telling me something I already know. 

"Hinata you know how you feel when you are around Naruto right?"she nods at my question. Her eyes hold so much concern for me I start to feel bad. "Well that is how I feel for Gaara. I get so nervous and flustered around him. I practically turn into you. I like him a lot." I gently take her hand. "I hope my future will be as bright as yours."

I don't even know I'm saying this. It just slips out. I hope I will still be here to see her and Naruto get married. I want to see her that day. I want to see her happy. She will be the most beautiful bride ever. "I call being your maid of honor at your wedding." It's like she read my mind. "Same here!"

"What am I chopped liver?!" Temari comes up. "No never! You are my big sis. Of course you will have part in my wedding." A huge smile comes to her face as she throws her arms around me. Hinata is still nervous but she has a smile on too.

"If everyone is here we will now start the third exam." Our next proctor comes in the room. He has us follow him to the huge arena. It's more huge than I expected. We all stand in lines. I am now beside my two out of three teammates. Sasuke in no condition to fight.

"We will let the board decide on who you will all fight." Now this makes me nervous. This would be the very first time I fought someone besides in training. I hope I can make it passed. I want to show I can be strong.
