Chapter 35

Noi's POV

"The castle was basically built with strong offense system. Shu was the one who controls the gates into the castle." Jing said while showing a picture of the castle that belongs to Shu.

I looked up , hoping to take a peek of the castle once more but got dragged down by Josh. "If Shu saw us , the plan will be doomed." "We first know that she doesn't trust you boys now , not to mention Ava. Besides , paint balls was used for defense."

"Paint balls?"

Josh then pulled out a paper made human from nowhere and threw it outwards. Just in one second , the paper was shot by different colour of dye and caused it to be torn and holes on it.

"Where did he get that paper human?" "Trust me , he pulled things out like Mary Poppins." Jing said while massaging the bridge of her nose. Josh let out a deep sigh as he looked at the paper that's torn apart.

"Well , how are we going to investigate the castle if that's what going to happen to the Daemos?" Jing sighed by Josh's question as she pulled put a brown leather cover book and started flipping those pages.

"Well , since those fellas have magic..."

Josh's POV

"Just follow my lead , don't runaway. You never know what's in the castle." Jing said while walking across the path with paintball splashes on the ground.

Like what she suspected , paint balls doesn't activate with the existence of Usagis. And that's how she's going to sneak the Daemos into the castle.

Can't believe that she actually wrote a book about them and their available spells. And she eventually knew that they can made themselves invisible. So , she insisted them to invisible themselves and tried not to make too many noises and avoid crowds as they can possible do.

"Welcome , my diamonds." I looked down and noticed a kid who's dressed in dark blue knee length dress with white trim and her hair was tied into a waterfall braid.

Diamonds.....

Something Shu will call us when we're little.....

"Her diamond was welcome with your accompany and she required me to take you to the Great Autumn Spring for a break after the long walk. May I escort you there?" She bowed after us , asking.

"Yes please." Jing said as the kid escorted us to the location. While walking , I have notice the castle was made out of white marble floor and polished obsidian walls. The texture of each walls and pillar was designed amazingly.

"This was just fascinating." Rhys uttered softly. "How did she even get obsidian if there's no water or lava sources here?" "Her diamond have not mention anything about the building , sincerely apologies." The kid said as we were brought to a garden where there are maple trees and lotus pond with orange lotus....

"I will check on her , my diamond. Please remain in this location." The kid said while ran away , giving us a chance to discuss about this.

"Now , you guys can stand right next to the pond of lotus flowers , so Shu couldn't sense your presence. She had much more sensitive hearing than any Usagi now." Jing said but the stubborn them insisted , especially Asch , the royal pain.

"Why should we? Or there's something behind this all along?" "You-*grunt* , we talk about this , Asch. Are you trying to break one of the rules already?!" Jing asked while pointing out her finger onto Asch's shirt.

"I-I mean ," Asch said while clearing his throat , "Sure , we'll step aside , for only observation." He said as I felt his presence with the other 4 Daemos left.

"Did you meet with him , in the night?" I immediately questioned my sister , who's face soon gone crimson red and she looked away from me.

Rhys's POV

"No , of course not! W-Why would I even meet her? She's the sister of a gypsy after all." Asch exclaimed for disagreeing with Leif's opinion that if he secretly met with Jing.

"Yeah....I'll take that...." Leif said mischievously as a voice came in the Great Autumn Spring as the kid called.

"What are you two doing here?"

I turned and only found a woman in cloak who was clearly Shu with a hood , thanks to the help of the glimpse of green under it.

"Shu! My sister. How things had been?" "Better without the two of you. Now , leave. I had more issues to settle." She said as cold as my ice magic and before she can take a step and leave , Josh grabbed her by the wrist.

"Just open up to us , Shu... Your secrets will be zipped under our lips." "How am I suppose to trust you? After you had abandoned me on Earth? After you all suspect me for killing mom? I have trust issues , to anyone." Shu questioned, leaving the Usagi twins in silent.

"What did she mean by killing her own mother and the abandonment of her on Earth?" I questioned aloud , soon receiving answers from Asch.

"Well , eventually Shu was the youngest child in the Usagi family tree , which was right after her mother , or Mrs. Bungee passed away. Then , she was hated by the other Usagi and was abandoned by the eldest daughter, Juan the Usagi , on Earth when she was 10."

"So you did meet Jing last night." Pierce uttered softly , which makes Asch froze in his standing position and quickly denied about it. "N-No , no I do not!"

Soon , I realised a lost figure among the Daemos. I turned my neck and found Leif who's sneaking next to Shu. "Leif! What are you doing? Get back here!" I whisper yelled at him from my position.

"Well , I'm taking the first step to see what's behind the hood of Shu obviously since myself who's so curious about it." He said while walking even closer to her.

He soon was right standing next to Shu who's still having a conversation with Josh and Jing. He pulled his sickles and quickly flipped open her hood.

"Gee , what?" Shu exclaimed while turned to us while we could finally see her face. The scar that she received by Noi was now grew with more new cracks.

"O-Oh my! Such a strong wind today! Right Josh?" Jing asked while bumping Josh by the arm , "Y-Yeah , it was. Hehe...." Josh giggled awkwardly whole Shu started to laugh like a maniac.

"Was it? Cause I think there's someone who purposely took off my hood!" Shu yelled as she kicked Leif by the sides and pinned him onto the ground with her feet on the stomach.

"Hello Leif...."

"I-It's been quite some time , hehe..."

"Hey ,do you wanna know how many stars are there in the sky?" "Well , I would love to but-" "Good! Then , why don't I give you A LIFT!?" Shu said while a metal hammer appeared in her grip as she smacked Leif high into the sky.

"The others are here too , aren't they , Sis?" As Shu asked , Noi first undo the invisibility spell I casted on him and ran towards Shu boldly. "Shu! You don't have to do this! I mean , you don't have to be sad cause of the abandonment of yours to Ear-th and the hate of your family." I mentally smacked my hand on my face for what Noi just said.

And like what I suspected

He was kicked into the sky.

"Tsk , speak the man who corrupted me in the first place." She said while I noticed a new crack grew from the old ones. "Shu , be calm. Your corruption was getting even worse." She narrowed her eyebrows and I was smacked into the sky , landed outside of the castle , followed by Pierce , Asch and the Usagi twins.

"Gee , she got some temper tantrums..." "Ugh! We almost convinced her to stop this chaos and you. Ruined it!" Jing yelled at us as she stood up from her ground , jumped away back to Lunaria.

"So..... Did you meet with her last night?"

"I said no! One more time before I burn you into ashes!"
