Leif's POV
".....bet you don't want to be Ashes , right?" Shu said as a dagger was placed next to Asch's throat.
"Woah , Woah, Shu. You can put the dagger down. Asch was a bit over the line this time." "What do you mean by 'this time'?" She asked while moving the dagger away.
"Did she forget about what happened to her before?" I whispered to Rhys as she suddenly appeared behind me , "You two should really learn how to talk things loudly instead of whisper."
We freaked out by her sudden appearance as she sat on the couch with her legs crossed. "You're the Spell Hunter?" She glared at us with her grey eye , then turned around saying, "Nashira , who's there? I didn't see anyone." "You know that I'm right here , Gy-"
"Ma'am was blind." Once again , we freaked out by the maid who appeared from nowhere.
"Her grey eye was the blind one. She was created that way. So , Sir told me keep my third eye open for her. And behave yourself before I told her about the blood of the flower you just killed...." Maid Nashira said as she glided and disappeared. "Do you think the eye was...."
Wait- Before Shu vanished , one of her eyes was damaged! That explains it!
"You know , you can just arrest my father. He was the spell hunter after all. Don't tell me that you actually trust him." "Stop calling Baron Hou your father , Gypsy! Sir Jade will be disappointed for you if he heard that." Asch yelled while smacked the table once more.
Shu looked at him as she grunted by a headache. "Shu! Honeycomb , are you alright?" Baron Hou bust in the room as he held Shu in his arms. "Just... another headache , Papa...." "Come on let me take you to your- , " Before Baron Hou even held his daughter's hands to her room , that action as quickly stopped by Shu herself, "Nevermind, father. Prince Asch do need some accompany after all."
She really changed a lot.... I looked at Noi who's once the love of her life , who's now quite desperate seeing her like this.
"Apologies for my daughter's early return. She had some headache issues when she was little. I was still trying to find a cure for her..." "Cut i-" "Allow me this time , Prince Asch. You have talked enough." I let out a laugh after hearing Rhys said so.
Pierce's POV
"Baron Hou , Shu had told us everything," Rhys said calmly as Baron Hou's hand started to shiver , "We hope you can admit the truth. That you're the Spell Hunter." "Ugh , that young Lady...," Baron Hou grunted as he leaned back , questioned us , "How much she told told you?"
"All we need to know." I uttered softly. Baron Hou seems frustrated as he sighed and said , "Fine , I'm the one who's responsible with it. I admit. I will accept all punishments, but can I have a request?"
"Yes." said Asch with his hands on his knees.
"Take care of Shu for me." "You could've ask for other things, like providing infinite support to the financial of the family. Why that?" Leif said while Rhys hit Leif by the arm with his elbow.
"She must have a rough past life before. The scar and blind eye. There must be more about her , but they're not written. I hope for a support to her , who knows if she does something stupid."
I looked at Noi who's looking down full of sadness and patted him by the back. "No hard feelings?" He shook his head as the Baron continued. "She had a huge obsession to the flowers that Knight Noi crushed earlier. She was a very intelligent Daemos but she ," As Baron Hou wanted to continue , another huge explosion came in , "Use it in the wrong timing."
"I can see. Mind if I ask , if she likes sound music and combat?" "Hm , as the summoner , I was not very sure about. She spent most of her time with books and writing." Baron Hou said while scratching his head.
She couldn't possibly hate it , right?
"And...mind if we check out the Ancient Demon Summon Spell Book?" "....I think I borrowed it to Shatterer and they possibly haven't return."
Shatterer? She's actually his friend?

"Have you any idea that Shatterer was a woman?" "Are they? I met them only for 5 months. Their gender was a huge privacy as they said."
Man , Shatterer was still a huge mystery....
"Have Shatterer mention about....a human?" We quickly looked at Baron Hou , hoping for answers. "Apologies, men. It had been some time when I last saw them and gave them the book."
Ugh , that might be troubling issue now.....
Shu's POV
"Talk to your daughter about it. We'll be arresting you tomorrow as the sun rises." I leaned my back on the pillar as I tried to snuggle some information.
"But , the request-" "We will accept the request. Shu will be in good hands." The dark blue horn Daemos said as they finally left.
I walked out, which giving Father some shock on his spine. "Ah- Shu? I thought- aren't you suppose to be in your room now?" "You're finally facing the trial?"
"Y-You heard everything?" "Of course , Papa. I wouldn't say I trust the group of Daemos who had weapons in their grasp." I said while my arms crossed. "Shu. They're the royal , of course , they're on the good side." "Yeah , speak about the fact I'm going to be take care by them?"
"I can't bear to see you suffer without me. They can protect you , trust me." I huffed and answered a lazy 'fine' , walking back to my chamber.
'He doesn't know me at all. I'm not a damsel in distress,' I thought while grabbed my comb and combed my hair under the moonlight, 'Those Daemos seem to have something behind their backs. Their face was written 'I'm not trustworthy' sentence.'
'But that guy....'
'He seems familiar.....'
