Chapter 43

Leif's POV

"Ugh , Rhys , we have been walking for hours! Can't we just take a break?!" I groaned and yelled at him since we have been walking for quite some time after talking to Lady Grandma.

"No , we don't know what will happen to Ava if we rest down for a single second." Rhys disagreed as we found ourselves a village. "Yes! A place to rest!" "No! We shouldn't do so."

"Ugh , Rhys , just a break for minutes. Not for days." Asch said who has hid his ring that represents royalty. Rhys stood there for a while , grunted , saying a lazy 'fine'. As we cheered for a break , a Daemos bumped into Rhys and quickly apologized.

"Gee , watch where you're standing. Blockage." "Hey mind your tone!" The Daemos then rolled their eye as a Daemos approached to them , saying "Hey! Come on , we don't want to miss a win bet of the Shatterer!"

Shatterer?

I phased to them , blocking their way. "Ugh , if you want the apology fees , I request you to wait until the ring was over." "No , the main objective I stopped you was to ask , Who's Shatterer?"

"You mean THE Shatterer. They're unknown but they were very powerful in combat and spells." "And rumours had that they're friends to the mystery Spell Hunter!" The other exclaimed as they dragged each other in the coliseum.

"You heard that , guys?..." "Yeah , should we head to investigate this.... Shatterer as they call? Rhys?" Rhys stroked his chin while pushed his glaoses , "I believe it's necessary, not to mention if we get to talk to them , maybe they will join us."

Pierce's POV

"Welcome all Daemos! To the Agrona Coliseum!" A Daemos yelled in the middle of the coliseum as the crowd cheered.

"Today , as usual , we have our one and only Shatterer!" As the man announced, a figure appeared on stage. Their face was covered with a mask that as designed with two squared shaped swirls and a hood. They wore a black tight shirt and a stick with a small purple gem attached to was found in their grasp. Their horns were covered below their hood.

"People , people , calm down. Today , Shatterer will be having an open fight. Who ever wants to be have a 'talk' with them could have a step to the stage!" The man announced as many players approached.

The players appeared to be sized larger , taller and stronger than Shatterer themselves. They already had a disadvantage. Not to mention , weaponry. Some had swords like mine or magics , but Shatterer seems to only have a stick...

"The rules were the same , whoever got each other down from the ring, shall take the title "Best Fighter of Agrona Coliseum"."

"Ready? Let the fight begun!" As the Daemos yelled , one of the players take the lead , running to Shatterer who still being calm and still like a statue.

"Ugh , I can't bear to watch..." Noi said as he closed his eyes. I turned back and found the player was somehow kicked out of the ring , landed on the seat a row below us. "What did they..." Several players charged after them as they jumped into their heads , causing them to knock on each other , blacked out a bit.

"Unbelievable...." "They are powerful I would say." Asch uttered as he continued observe Shatterer. Shatterer soon reached out her arms as her stick extended into a spear as they blew a huge gust of wind and caused the players to be unbalanced as they fell off by the edge.

Leif cheered with the crowd as the Daemos said, "Those players were down , Shatterer! Shall we begin your favourite moment?" "Let's do it.." Shatterer said which their voice appeared to be a male's.

"My favourite moment was the trade and fight game. I'm sure you all know the rules right? Now... What shall the prize be..." Shatterer said while acting hesitately.

"Ah! I know! Something very valuable of mine. As value as a pink diamond.... Much more valuable than a human.... I found recently...." I was shocked by what the Shatterer just said and so is the Daemos.

"They had Ava?!" "I should thought so. We must win this." Asch said as the Shatterer announced for any competitors. Rhys quickly stood up saying , "We would like to take the challenge , Shatterer."

Noi's POV

Wah?! Are they serious?!

As I thought so , I was already on the ring, ready to fight with Shatterer themselves with the other Daemos close to me.

"Let the game start now!" As the Daemos announced , Leif phased behind them and decided to drag the down to the edge. But instead , they extended their spear and stab into the ring to get balance as Leif was the first one to fall off.

"Ugh , pathetic." Asch said as he charged several fireballs to them but the quickly dodged away or extinguish. "Seems like you're out of moves. My turn~" Shatterer uttered as they jumped high in the sky as they created a huge gust of wind in the air , causing Asch soon to be out.

While I kept my balance by stabbing the dagger on the ring , preventing myself from falling off.

They soon appeared behind Rhys who can't attack and even touch them as they walked to the edge close with Rhys , they kicked him down.

It's just me and Pierce.....

"Ugh , it's getting so boring , so don't we get this SERIOUSLY EH?!" They yelled as they start attacking Pierce with hard hits , making him walked backwards and miss a step and fell backwards.

Oh No.....

It's just me now.....

To get Ava back.... Let's do this.

"Really , you think you can get your human back? We'll see." Ugh , of course , friends with Spell Hunter themselves , they definitely know a spell or two.

I quickly ran to them as I attacked them with my weak daggers while they just stood there, dodging away my attacks with their spear. I took the chance when they're distracted and kicked them down by the foot as I grabbed their fallen body by the arm and tossed them out of the-

Shatterer stood from their ground as they spilt out some blood and jumped out of the wall of the Coliseum. "Wait! Shatterer!" I yelled , ignoring the announcements as me and the Daemos chased after them.

"Wait , we just want to talk about something!" "You already won , alright?! What else do you want?!" They turned to us , yelling annoyingly. "The human. Give it to us." Asch said with his hand reached out.

"Why should I? Prince Asch. You should be appreciated that I didn't call out your name." They said , but quickly stopped by Asch by a grab by the arm. "Tell us , where is she?" "Get off from me , you!" They yelled as they jumped and kicked Asch by the stomach. But somehow , Asch sliced their mask into two , revealing a half of their face.

"You're a girl?!" Shatterer who realised her identity was revealed quickly jumped up from branch to branch , as their figure was soon loss in the darkness of the forest.

"Darn it! Almost got her." "Prince Asch , calm down. We still have a chance. Let's keep moving on , we have taken quite some time alright."

"Ugghhh , more boring walking." Leif groaned as we continued our journey.
