I stared at him. Too late, I realized why he was here. "Everyone down on the floor", one of his men screamed and pulled out a gun. Screams, hectic, a first warning shot. I was too confused to react, but Hui pulled me behind a counter before I could think again. "You're ok?", he whispered and I shook my head to get my thoughts straight again. Then I nodded. "Yes, I am. And you?" To my relief, he also was. "Don't worry, it will be alright", he continued and pulled me into a side hug. That was when I saw him again. He stood in front of us, grinning evilly. Hui placed himself in front of me to protect me. No, please, no. This must be a nightmare. I pinched myself. "Ow!" Nope. It wasn't. Hui looked at me puzzled. "Stand up", the other one ordered. I gritted my teeth. I knew I had to do it. So, I got up. "Don't dare to-", Hui began, but I put a hand on his shoulder. "Hui, it's fine. Let me handle it", I said and looked at him pleadingly. "Please", I continued as I figured he wouldn't give in that easily, "Trust me." He didn't back up. I sighed. "Hui, move. I know this guy. We're... old pals...", I confessed. Hui stared at me and then finally slightly nodded.
"What do you want?", I asked my old friend. In our language. Nobody had to know what we were talking about. "The bank's money. But I found you now. I haven't had a hostage in years." I took a deep breath. "Let us go", I demanded, "It's over. Just accept it." "I don't want to." "What if I won't come along?" "Then I will take someone else along, I guess", he said and gestured to the people around us. Only now I realized how the room had grown silent. Everyone stared at us. He gave a signal and one of his men grabbed a nearby girl and put a gun to her head. She shrieked and I could see the fear on her face. I closed my eyes for a second and tried to think. "I'll give you three seconds", he said, "Three. Two..." "Okay!", I shouted and locked eyes with him again. "Okay", I repeated calmer, "Let us talk first though." "I don't want to." "Yuta, it's not too late!", I exclaimed. "It is", he said and grabbed my arm. Hui jumped over to us and Yuta knocked him out. I screamed. Then it got black around me as well.
As I opened my eyes again, I shrieked. Yuta's face was right above mine. "Good morning, 'old pal'", he smirked. "Idiot", I gave back and groaned as I realized a headache coming up. I looked around. I was lying on a bed in a small little apartment which looked actually quite nice. A bed, a couch, a table, a kitchen, a bathroom behind an open door and most importantly: the door to outside. "What are we doing here?", I asked, already planning a way out. "It's your new home, congrats", he grinned. "What was wrong with my old one?", I asked innocently while getting up. "Too far away." "From what? I had everything I needed right around the corner." "From me." "Oh, come on, stop with that crusty flirting and get me back", I demanded. "Nope", he answered. Well, it had been worth a try. "Okay", I went on and stood up completely, "I will find my way on my own then." "Good luck with that, princess", Yuta smirked. "I locked the door. We are on the fourth floor, so windows are no option either. I am way stronger then you; we both know that. And if you should manage to get out somehow, you're a genius. But then you'd still have to pass all the guards outside so... I repeat: Good luck." I glared at him. Idiot.

Hui's POV
I stared at him. "I am sorry... What?", I asked perplexed. The guy opposite me sighed: "I am her younger brother. Always was, always will be. Do you get it now?" I shook my head. "Okay, what part again this time?", he asked. Tempted to say "Everything", I almost choked on my saliva as I decided otherwise the last second: "Like - how did you get here and how did you know?" "I always kept in touch with her. Yet, when I heard Yuta wanted to come here, I decided to go after him instead of making Akari freak out. And then I heard about it in the news. There were no photos obviously, but I knew. And since she talked so much about you, I decided to go find you", he explained. I nodded slowly. I knew the rest of the story: He suddenly stood in front of my door and wanted to come in, explaining he was Akari's brother. So far, so true. I knew him from some of her family pictures. I was just too puzzled since she never talked about her family and the connection to them seemed... not that great. However, I let him in to talk it out and he told me that the only two who remained in contact was he and her - the rest of the family was pretty much not interested in her for some reason. I was smart enough to not ask further since I knew that it was a sensitive topic for Akari and therefore maybe for him as well. And we had other, way more important problems. I looked back at him: "One last question: What is your name by the way?" He blinked: "Oh yeah, I forgot, sorry. I am Yuto. Yuto Adachi."

Yuta's POV
I watcher her pace through the room. After holding a long and boring talk about how much of an idiot I was, she started running around, obviously deep in thought. I grinned. She was still endearing. Suddenly she stopped and abruptly looked at me as if she would murder me any moment. Slowly approaching me she pointed at me and hissed: "You. You brought me into this. You will bring me out of this or else-" "Threats? You don't have anything you could pressure me with", I shrugged. "I have a pretty influential family back in Japan. Don't you think they will come after me when they hear I went missing?" "I think", I smirked, "They forgot about you. Just like you forgot about them. Remember, they abandoned you after you refused to do what they wanted you to." I saw her flinch and knew I was right. As mighty as her family was, she decided to not be part of it anymore. And now she paid the prize. I grinned triumphantly. "Wipe that smile out of your face. You don't know shit about my life here", she sulked. I shrugged my shoulders, indifferent on the outside. On the inside, an uncertain feeling got its hold of me. She had seemed too sure. I should keep my guards up. "Whatever", I said and got up from her bed, "I'll leave first. Or shall I say I am the only one leaving?" I smirked as her eyes shot daggers at me once again even though I felt pretty sorry for her on the inside. I went over to her and caressed her cheek which made her stiffen up immediately. "Leave", she growled. And so I did. She didn't even try to follow me to the door. Good girl.
