KAILYN POV
2 MONTHS LATER
Over the past couple of months, Mikayla has been staying with me and as far as I know hasn't had much contact with Marvin, Mashawn and I still were sleeping together whenever he came into the office and at first I thought it was just sex, but recently he's been making more of an effort for us to spend time with each other outside of our sessions.
I stepped into the bedroom closet to pick out an outfit for today. Mashawn had told me that he had a surprise for me and to wear something casual so I was completely anxious, but I still felt the need to check on my downtrodden friend "How you feeling today Mikayla?"
"Tired." she replied as she continued to just lay there and watch tv.
"You've been saying that for the past 2 months" I say with a soft chuckle "You've been in bed almost the whole time, you should be up by now." I said as I pulled out a pair of blue jeans and a purple cardigan.
"Where you going?" she ask as she watches me exit the closet.
"Shawn wants to go out somewhere today, if you want I could ask if you could come too." I suggest.
"No I'd rather just hang here." she answered I just shrugged and made my way to the bathroom to shower, brush my teeth, etc. I loved Mikayla to death and wanted her to feel better, but I refuse to baby her anymore, if she wants to get up she will I'm not forcing it.
MASHAWN POV
"Baby where are you going?" Rose asked as she watched me get out of bed. Since she got back from LA, she's moved in with me. She thinks we're together but I don't. Whenever I'm out the house either I'm at therapy with Kailyn, hanging with Marvin, or out meeting more females. The only reason I had her move in is cause it's easy access to some pussy and nothing more.
"I'm going out." I reply dryly.
"Can I come?" she asked happily.
I moved over to her and kissed her lips softly "No." I answer as I begin to get dressed.
"Why the hell not?" she asked obviously upset.
"Because you're not invited." I respond with a laugh but she wasn't amused at all. "I'll see you in a couple hours alright?" I asked as I prepared to head out the room.
"Who knows, I might not even be here when you get back." she replied smugly.
"Girl you know good and well you ain't going nowhere." I answer laughing even harder.
"No I might just leave because you don't even care about me! It's like I'm just your live in sex slave! You never invite me out, tell me where you're going, introduce me to any of your friends, claim me on social media, or anything! I'm getting sick of your shit Mashawn!" she screamed as tears began to fall from her eyes. I aint have time for her shit, but I had to comfort her cause I hated sleeping in that big ass bed alone.
"Come here baby." I say as I motioned her into my arms and when she was comfortably in my arms I continued "Rose baby you know you're mine and I'm yours. It's just hard for me to do that PDA shit I'm not that type of nigga. And you trying to change me is only pushing me away and I don't even wanna go nowhere, so just bear with me ok?" I squeezed her tighter as the lies spewed from my mouth.
"I know that Shawn, I just wish you showed me you cared more." she admitted as her sobs softened.
"Look " I stated as I lifted her head up to face me "how about when I get back, we go catch a movie and dinner ok?" I suggested and she nodded her head and rested it on my chest. I was able to see a clock from where I was standing and saw it was already noon and I told Kailyn I'd pick her up at 12:30. "Aye baby I gotta go or I'm gone be late, I'll see you later." I exclaimed as I released her from my grip and headed out the door and to my truck.
