Description:
Lan Zhan wakes up only to find that his husband has been replaced by a small Wei Ying-like child. Only on closer inspection does he finally realise that it is in fact Wei Ying who has for some reason reverted back to when he was three-years-old.

Lan Zhan was awoken by the sound of a child wailing loudly, so loudly it was like he was in the same room. That's when he realised, it had to be in the same room, the Jingshi was too far away from anyone else to have any children outside.

His eyes snapped open and he sat up quickly, looking around the room, until he realised that he couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Looking out of the window, he gathered that it was probably about two in the morning. This meant that whatever he had heard, had interrupted his perfect sleeping schedule, making him audibly sigh.

Thinking that there was no way he could possibly go to sleep with the crying, he got up from the bed, only to be stopped when he realised something...Wei Ying was no where to be found.

Lan Zhan felt a pang of guilt within his heart at the fact that he didn't notice this significant difference earlier. He looked around the room again, having now turned on the light and that's when he saw Wei Ying's clothes crumpled on the floor, something moving beneath them.

Cautiously, Lan Zhan made his way over to the mysterious moving object beneath his lover's robes. Lifting up the clothes carefully, his eyes were fixed onto the thing that had been unnervingly silent for a while now. Once the robes had been lifted, Lan Zhan almost lost composure due to the surprise he received.

Underneath, was a little child who was sucking his thumb, looking up at Lan Zhan with big doe eyes. The child had silky black hair that was tied up in long, flowing red ribbon that was similar to Wei Yi... wait... that was Wei Ying's ribbon.

Without a second thought, Lan Zhan took the ribbon from the kid's hair and examined it carefully. It was in fact his husband's. The embroidered Y+Z on the end, that Lan Zhan had done as a present for Wei Ying's birthday, stood out as it was sown with the whitest of threads.

Staring back at the child once again, he realised that there were lots of similarities between the little boy and his disappeared lover. Putting two and two together, he realised that the child in front of him must be his husband, but how?

Realising this, Lan Zhan instantly tied the ribbon back gently into Wei Ying's hair and picked him up carefully. Little Wei Ying hung onto Lan Zhan almost as though he felt the taller would drop him, something he would try and prevent as much as possible.

"Wei Ying?" Lan Zhan muttered curiously, testing if it really was his shrunken husband. Just as he had expected, the child lifted his head with a bright, gleaming smile plastered on his face.

Thinking, Lan Zhan was trying to rack his brain on how his love had somehow been transformed back to his very young self. The only possible explanation that he could come up with is that someone must've cursed him. However, he couldn't think of a reason as to why they would do that.

He was taken out of his thoughts when Wei Ying started crying again, much softer this time though. Lan Zhan had never looked after a kid before, he felt awkward around them, not really knowing what to do. But this was his husband so he at least had to try and make it work.

"Hungry~" Wei Ying wailed as he held tightly to Lan Zhan robes, looking at him with damp, rosy cheeks. Lan Zhan found the sight adorable, 'maybe this won't be so bad' he thought.

Wei Ying was in his adult undergarments so they were overly big on him, they were so big he was barely even wearing them. Lan Zhan had no children's clothes so for now he put Wei Ying onto the bed, undid the undergarments slightly before redoing it but trying it correctly so it fit Wei Ying's tiny frame.
