Description:
Lan Zhan has been preparing for this moment for months, debating and doubting every single decision he makes along the way. The others trying their hardest to keep the big secret from the sunshine of the Lan Sect, making sure everything was perfect for their Hanguang-Jun.

☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️

Lan Zhan was sat in the library pavilion, straight faced, well that's what he looked like on the outside. Inside, however, Lan Zhan's thoughts were running wild, doubting every action and idea that had lead up to this moment.

He had decided that today was the day that he was going to propose to the love of his life. This meant that he has been distancing from Wei Ying for the past few weeks, causing him great amounts of pain in his heart. Although, it had to be done because today had to be absolutely perfect for the both of them. Another reason is that Wei Ying knew him too well and therefore he would instantly know that something was being kept from him. This was the first thing he was doubting, whether it was the right decision or not.

The second thing he was doubting was whether everything was going to be okay and go to the way he had hoped. He had spend every waking moment that he possibly could, outside of teaching lessons, focusing all his attention on the preparation.

It may be something small to others, but to Lan Zhan it had to flawless. This was because he needed Wei Ying to know that this was no empty gesture, and instead something that he had but all his heart and love into planning just for him.

"Fuqin?" Sizhui walked into the library pavilion, calling his adoptive dad softly, trying not to scare him. Lan Zhan's head snapped up and a gentle look formed over his face, summoning him over.

"What is wrong, Sizhui?" Lan Zhan asked once the young disciple had seated in front of him. The other smiled and looked down at the paper in front of Lan Zhan, looking over all of his plans.

"Still trying to plan it?" Sizhui question quietly, making sure not to destroy the silence in the room completely. Lan Zhan hummed and nodded slightly, picking up the brush and noting a few more things down.

"But aren't you going to do it tonight?" Sizhui was confused as to what his fuqin could still be planning so close to the actual event.
"Yes," was at Lan Zhan said before sighing slightly, letting his stress get the best of him.

When he was with Wei Ying or his adoptive son, he couldn't help but to let his emotions show, telling them how he really felt. Lan Zhan was just completely natural around the two, the two he felt the most comfortable around.

"Why don't you give it a break for a while?" Sizhui suggested lightly, looking his fuqin in the eyes, showing how concerned he was. Lan Zhan shook his head, "I can't, there is too much to do."

Before either could say anything else, a beaming ray of sunshine bounded into the room, causing the two to jump slightly.
"My dear Lan Zhan, are you here?" Wei Ying's enthusiastic voice rang beautifully in the silence.

As quick as Lan Zhan could, he slid the paper off the table and put it behind him, not noticing that the ink was still wet and now dripping down the paper. Sizhui's eyes widened and his head whipped round to look at Lan Zhan, but they quickly relaxed when he saw that the paper had disappeared from the table.

"Sizhui~ you're here too!" Wei Ying's smiled as he saw the both of them sitting there, a smile on both their faces too, Lan Zhan's more hidden than the other. He bounced over and sat next to his lover, hugging him tightly and placing a kiss to his cheek.
