Description:
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian get into a pretty heated argument, their first ever one to be precise, but it takes a bad turn when someone ends up in a bad situation.
(sorry I have been absent for a while, I was busy focusing on my exams, but they're over now so I may have more time to do write)

Wei Wuxian was clearing up the Jingshi, specifically Lan Wangji's desk that resided in front of the back door, as he said it provided a good atmosphere for his duties. The reason for this out of character action from Wei Wuxian was because his husband had been quite stressed recently and he wanted to organise his things to make it easier for him to work when he needed the desk.

He started with the wooden styluses that were scattered all over the zitan - type of wood - surface, showing how disperse his lover's thoughts were with current events happening in Cloud Recesses. Then he moved onto the important papers that were just thrown anywhere, no type of organisation method to be seen. Wei Wuxian, while cleaning these documents, discovered the problem of the fact that he had no knowledge as to what any of these papers were referring to, therefore did not know what piece should be place with what. Having come to this revelation, he is decided that he would just guess using patterns seen throughout the documents, such as a symbol in the corner or the way the writer spoke throughout the entirety of the paper.

Feeling accomplished with himself, he sat back on the floor and looked upon the newly cleaned table. The papers had all been stacked neatly on either side of the table, organised so that the most urgent documents were placed on-top the stack, the styluses placed neatly in a dish that ran along the back of the table with the middle space being left empty for what Lan Wangji decided to work on next. Smiling at his handy work, he couldn't help but wish Lan Wangji would come back sooner just so he could show off his expertise.

Soon nightfall came and Wei Wuxian was finally sat on the bed, eagerly looking at his husband's desk, after a long day of cleaning their home and doing his duties around Cloud Recessses. Lan Wangji should have finished his meetings by now and would be travelling to the Jingshi, making Wei Wuxian impatient for his arrival. His feet tapped against the wooden flooring and his fingers entwined with each other, his thumbs twirling in nerves.

Wei Wuxian was soon pulled out of his thinking when the door of the Jingshi slid open and a tired looking beauty walked through, robes flapping angelically behind him. He immediately stood to greet his lover, but was stunned when his husband simply ignored his existence, heading for his desk. This caused more nerves to bubble up within Wei Wuxian's chest, his work was about to be assessed and it didn't even seem like Lan Wangji was in a good mood.

"My love? What is wrong?" Wei Wuxian called out to his husband that seemed to be in a daze, however there was no response, he just sat in front of his desk. His eyes glazed over the newly tidied desk, his expression unwavering.

"What have you done?" Lan Wangji asked, his voice strained as he looked up slowly to meet Wei Wuxian's eyes.

"I tidied for you. Look, all your papers are stacked neatly and you have space to do your work. I know you have been working har-,"

"Why would you do that?" Lan Wangji cut off his husband, his expression now stern as he stared into Wei Wuxian's eyes. It wasn't often that Wei Wuxian was lost for words, but with the reaction that his good deed was getting, he didn't quite know how to react.

"Well, I know you have been focusing hard on your duties and meetings, so I thought that you could work more efficiently if your desk was cleaned and organised."
