I smile at Tris sleeping and the light from the rising sun glinting off her ring. I slowly get out of bed and set the blanket down, then go to the kitchen to make coffee. I'm stopped by the sight of someone in there.

"Whoever you are, you have fifteen seconds to get out of my house." I warn, grabbing a gun.

"Don't shoot! It's me." The person slowly turns, his hands in the air.

"Caleb..." I pause.

"Can I see my sister?" He asks.

"Why?" I don't stop aiming the gun at him, but slowly lift my finger off the trigger.

"She's my sister." He replies.

"Well, you're outta luck. She's asleep." I tell him.

Tris walks past, yawning and ignoring the massive case of bed head she has.

She bumps my shoulder as I lower the gun and add, "Or was."

"Wha...what's going on?" Tris asks.

"Caleb's here to see you." I reply, passing them to make the coffee.

"Why?"

"Because. I want to talk to you. Sibling to sibling." Caleb tells her.

"Wait until I've had coffee." She advises, sitting at the table.

I pour her a cup and set it down in front of her. She sips it and I kiss her on the head, then go to take a shower as they begin talking. I lather soap into my hair and rinse it out as I hear Caleb say, "What?!"

Before Tris replies, I hear Caleb storm into the bathroom. I grab my knife and wrap a towel around my waist, turning off the water as he rips the curtain back. "You got my sister pregnant?!"

I nod and hold my knife at arms' length. "Get out."

"You got my sister pregnant!"

"Yes, I got my fiancée pregnant, Prior. Sue me."

"Fiancée?"

"Caleb! What the hell?" Tris storms in and turns him around by the arm.

"When did you get engaged?" He steps forward, getting in her face. I grab my boxers, slip them on, and drag him out of the bathroom.

"You have been absent in her life since the moment you learned she was alive. What makes you think you can just jump into our business now?" I pin him against the wall.

"I'm her brother!" He retorts, struggling against my grip.

"You're not her brother! When you left her life, you lost the privilege to be in it again."

"Tobias." Tris's voice is stern. I drop Caleb and he falls to the floor. I leave the room and sit in my recliner, reading the newspaper. Caleb storms past me out the door, and Tris follows him out to the living room.

"I thought you told him." I say as she comes up behind me.

"I never got to it." She sits on my lap.

I kiss her cheek and turn on the news.
