I sigh as I walk in the door of my home. I now live in the old house I was abused in. My father's home is now mine. I don't bother wiping my shoes. What's the point? We dumped Tris's ashes today. I still can't believe she is gone. We were meant for each other.

I groan and flop onto the couch, just lying there, thinking of Tris. Her blonde hair, her blue eyes. I never thought I would get so attached to another person.

Zeke walks in. "Hey man. Need anything? I was told to check up on ya, make sure you didn't kill yourself or something."

I smile halfheartedly. "I'm fine. Thanks, man."

He grins. "Dude, you should really need to decorate in here. We should do that tomorrow. Decorate. It is way too depressing and boring in here."

I shake my head, smiling slightly. I know he is just trying to make me feel better. "Where are we gonna get the supplies, genius?"

"Did not think of that one."

"No wonder you didn't have aptitude for Erudite."

"Really feeling the love, bro." He says, putting a hand on his heart.

I roll my eyes.

He claps me on the back. "I'll be back in an hour. Try not to die."

I grin at that, but as he pulls the door shut, my smile droops into a frown. Nope. No happiness. Not without her.

Suddenly someone knocks on the door. I stare at it. Everyone just comes in. Who could that be?

I sigh and walk toward it. I pull open the door. "Zeke, why are you-" I stop, and almost faint when I see who it is. It can't be.
