THE LAST THING ELVIRA remembered before everything went black was hearing Jura's voice, and when she finally came to she was hearing both Lucy and Hibiki. Upon opening her eyes for the first time since she was knocked out, she saw Erza seemingly unconscious, looking ten times worse than Elvira did.

Focusing her attention on Lucy and Hibiki, she was hoping to get an explanation for what happened to Erza, as well as where everybody else was. However, instead, she was met with a conversation about the one thing she hated to talk about, her curse. She watched as Lucy and Hibiki looked at the information brought up by Hibiki's archive magic, seemingly about her curse.

Elvira didn't sit around for long before she used what little energy she had left to get up and run away from the pair. Elvira knew that if she stayed, she would have no choice but to acknowledge what they found. There's only one person that Elvira told about her curse, and that was Gajeel. He and Elvira grew up together, he was there for some of the biggest moments of her life.

Gajeel was there when she had her second slip up, almost hurting someone with her curse. As was he there when she got the gloves that would help her conceal her curse. And throughout the years, there was nobody else that entered Elvira's life that she felt she could reveal her curse to. Of course, there were moments that she felt tempted, as she almost revealing such to Totomaru, Rogue, and even Laxus.

Yet, she never felt one hundred percent confident in her ability to truly reveal her deepest, darkest secret. And it wasn't as if she didn't trust these people, she just didn't trust herself to be able to talk about it. This is why it was different with Gajeel, he was there to witness it all, making it easy, bringing her comfort in being able to acknowledge the dark magical energy that existed within her.

But right now, acknowledging that dark magical energy was the last thing she wanted to do, especially now of all times. While she didn't notice the first time the dark magical energy began to emit from her like crazy, she did, however, notice it the second time. During her confrontation with Brain, she couldn't help but become scared at the dark color of her magic circle. Yet she was so distracted by her rage, that she pushed it back, and focused on the fight.

But now that the fight was over, and she was calm, she couldn't help but fear the darkness she felt within her. Elvira knew it had something to do with her curse, and she was terrified of it. She was terrified because she didn't know what it meant, she didn't know if the curse was growing stronger, she didn't know if something worse was happening within her. And not knowing was the worse thing she could ever feel.

"Damn it!" Elvira exclaims as she stops to lean up against a tree. "You need to calm down Elvira! Wendy is out there, and I need to save her."

Elvira knew she couldn't let herself get distracted from the problem at hand. She was there to stop the Oracion Seis, the very same guild that had kidnapped both Wendy and Happy for whatever reason. Elvira found that thinking about herself right now was not only selfish but distracting. She could figure out what it was with her curse later, right now she had more important things that needed to take priority. Finding Wendy and Happy, and most importantly stopping the Oracion Seis. Elvira wasn't going to waste any time, but more importantly, she couldn't.

"Alright Elvira, time to get back to business," she says to herself before taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. "Now, where are you, Wendy?"
