TEN MINUTES, THAT'S HOW long Elvira had to figure out how to disable the Thunder Palace. Despite leaving the Fairy Tail guild abruptly, she didn't have a clear and for sure plan and was working through it as she went. While she made her way through the town, she made sure to get as many people off the streets as possible. Thankfully, many townspeople saw what had happened when Bisca attempted to take one of the lacrima out of the sky, so many had already taken cover. But for those that hadn't seen, they were wandering around preparing for the festival.

To avoid extreme panic, Elvira made it out to be that the Thunder Palace was part of the parade, but because of technical difficulties, it was dangerous for people to be out and about. Of course, that lie still caused some concern and worry, but it wasn't panic, something Elvira was determined to avoid. She was successfully able to get most if not all people back in their homes, but she wasn't, however, able to come up with a clear plan. With ten minutes, she knew she had to start working faster, but every plan she had come up with so far while risky, still wouldn't work.

One of her plans was to destroy the lacrimas on her own, one by one. However, the issue with that plan was the fact that she could only absorb so much before she got exhausted. To avoid this, the next idea she came up with was to destroy all the lacrimas at once. With her energy burst spell, she could release multiple blasts at once, hit all the lacrimas, and get them all out of the sky.

While this plan was better than her previous one, she would be using a lot of magical power to send out the burst. And because her conversion spell requires a lot of magical energy, there would be no way she could convert it all. But even then, taking all that magical energy was still risky, especially since it would be coming in all once.

"What am I going to do?" she mutters, looking up at the lacrima. "No matter what I do, it's risky, but even then, I can't let innocent people get hurt."

As Elvira continued to wander around the city, she stopped upon seeing a familiar redhead standing before the lacrimas. She quickly noticed that Erza had multiple swords out, all of which were pointing in a direction of a lacrima. Seeing that, Elvira immediately knew what Erza was going to do, she was going to knock out all the lacrimas. Noticing that, she made her way over to Erza, wanting to warn her about the risk of destroying the lacrimas.

Erza wasn't there at the guild when they learned the risk, so she didn't know the danger she was putting herself into. It didn't help that Erza had multiple swords out, telling Elvira that she planned on destroying multiple at once. Destroying one was a huge risk, multiple was even worse, especially for someone without the ability to take it all in.

"Erza!" Elvira exclaims running up in front of her. "What are you doing? You can't destroy those if you do-,"

"I know," Erza reveals cutting her off. "And I'm willing to take that risk."

"I see," she replies, looking down in thought before her head shot up when she came up with a plan. "I gotta go Erza, I'll see you later."

"Where are you going?"

Elvira didn't answer her, instead, she kept on running. Where was she running? To the middle of the town, because after talking with Erza, she had a plan. It was a risky one, but it would work, she just had to hope she would get there in time. While she made her way to the center of town, she couldn't help but notice the lacrimas begin to light up, telling her she had about a minute before all hell broke loose.

Seeing this, she ran only faster, running faster than she's ever run before in her life. She couldn't slow down, she couldn't stop, because slowing down for just a second, she would risk lives. However, this time, it wasn't the citizens, but instead of was the guildmembers of Fairy Tail. Because as Elvira began to make her way to the center of the town, the people of Fairy Tail began standing up. When Elvira finally made her way to the center of town, the lacrimas began being destroyed, one by one, quickly, and done by a multitude of magic.

As the lacrimas were destroyed, Elvira activated her magic boots and shot up as fast as she could. She knew she had about a second or two before the body-link magic went was activated, and she was taking those seconds to get as high up as possible. As the spots where the lacrimas begin to slow, Elvira held out her arms and focused her magic on the energy, directing the flow towards her. So when the body-link magic was released, instead of hitting those that destroyed the lacrima, it went towards her, in a gigantic flash.

"Ahhh!"

She let out a scream as the lightning magic power coursed through her body. The magic power was strong, so strong she quivered in the air, barely keeping herself there. As the energy entered her body, she worked on converting it to her own magic, but her magic power began to short out as she attempted to use it. Still, she powered through the pain, doing her best to convert it, and not release it onto the town. Elvira stayed in the sky for only a second more before she goes falling headfirst into the town.

However, right before she hit the ground, she stopped midair, something had caught her, and when she opened her eyes, she was shocked to see that it was Happy. She tried her best to say something, but her teeth chattered, and she couldn't even get a word out. Elvira was only able to convert two-thirds of the magic power, so the rest of it remained in her body. Her body shook not only due to the lightning that had coursed its way through her body but due to the foreign energy in her body.

Her body was trying to expel it, it was rejecting it, but she held back, doing her best from releasing it. As Happy flew her to a familiar blonde, Elvira began to fade in and out of consciousness, her body slowly giving out. Her senses seemed out of commission, as while she felt Happy's tears fall on her head, she barely heard what the cat had said to Lucy as he arrived there with her.

"Oh my God!" Lucy exclaims seeing Elvira. "What happened?"

"I think she absorbed all the energy from the lacrimas after we destroyed them," Happy sobs.

"What?" Lucy gasps. "Why would you do that? Elvira? Elvira!"

"I don't think she can hear us."

"We have to get her back to the guild," Lucy tells him, as Happy held her up. "And quick."

"Okay," Happy agrees, nodding his head.

"Hold on Elvira!"
