If I could trade my soul
And end my life today
To give my angel more
Time for at least a day
Time to feel at home
And tell her your last words
Before she will be gone
Away from this cruel world
Heaven gained an angel
The sky gained a star
To guide you on your way
Wherever in this world you are
For I can't, I hope you see her
At least in your dreams
Maybe then your tired eyes
Will get enough sleep
I hope you know you did so well
She'll be blessing you from above
Because you did your best
And gave her more than all your love
I feel worse for you
Than I feel for her
For heaven gained an angel
But you lost her in this world
