When the chills pierce to my bones
And my eyes scan pointless words
And my head's already given up
What's the point in what I won't remember
When the color fades away
But somehow the clouds keep moving
Though time stopped yesterday
I guess it only did for me
When my eyes are open but can't see
And my skin is freezing cold
And my soul's left my body
For my heart became too old
What was the point in all the time
I spent staring at a paper
When even the words knew that I
Them wouldn't remember
