Gasoline

I hope the scent of gasoline

Visits you every morning too

And I hope it reminds you of me

Who had always loved you

And I know you have found someone

Else way more beautiful than me

But my love doesn't want me to be the one

As long as you get to be happy

Like a dandelion you'll float away

And my heart will slowly start to heal

You're just one out of billions anyway

But you were one in those billions for me

Now I know you deserve more

Than someone like me with battle scars

For I tried to bring you the moon

But someone else got you a sky full of stars

However, thank you even though it hurts

For showing me what loving you is like

I'll try to forget you in this world

But my heart will remember you for life
