Promises of exploring Los Angeles for the first time were fulfilled. A little over a week ago, I would have naively thought the exploring would be just be me and Yoongi. It wasn't, because all of the guys tagged along, which—surprise—I'm actually thankful for.

Each of us, including Bomi, chose one place to explore for our free days out. The concerts went by amazingly last weekend, so Namjoon thought we should reward ourselves. From Monday to today, it's been just constant touring.

It's honestly a bit surreal hanging out with the band. If I didn't get myself caught up in this intangible web, would I be hanging out with the other makeup artists right now instead? Maybe.

Taehyung chose the Hollywood Walk of Fame on the first day. Besides being crowded as hell, it was an amazing experience. Locals may disagree, but for my first time there, it was really memorable. That day was the day I got my phone back, and I can't tell you how many pictures I took of the members and of Bomi (so I could show her mother at our next family gathering).

I took one of Hoseok and Jimin lying next to their Hollywood star, which was surreal. It made me think, wow, I am legit hanging out with celebrities right now.

I took one of two female dancers kissing Namjoon on each cheek. He was flushed. It was adorable. Jimin was dying for a kiss too, but Taehyung dragged him away before he could begin begging on his knees.

I took another one of Jungkook and Bomi standing in front of the Chinese Theater, him kissing her cheek. It was adorable. I was grinning from ear to ear after having found out about their secret relationship.

Seokjin made me take one of him, giving a Wolverine look alike a piggy back ride. His grin—which I rarely see—will forever be etched into my mind.

I took one of Taehyung eating ice cream, even though he told me to delete it. I didn't.

And Yoongi doesn't like pictures, so whenever I panned the camera to him, he turned around or covered his face or sometimes, he'd snatch my phone without a word. So, I took them secretly. They're mostly back pictures, but they're pictures nonetheless and I'll treasure that.

Hoseok chose the Santa Monica pier. It was so hot that day, I almost fainted. That day, I mostly took pictures of the ocean, for it was beautiful in the gleaming sunlight. Sometimes, Taehyung would photobomb me with his hand just to get on my nerves, and I'd hit his abdomen only for him to hunch over and call me a bitch. I just laughed.

We didn't get to ride the Ferris wheel, which I couldn't shut up about really wanting to do. But the line was super long, and Seokjin rolled his eyes and told me it wasn't worth it. I flipped him off.

We ate some food on the pier, but other than that, it was so crowded being summer and all, so we opted for the beach instead. I didn't want to go in the water, despite it being an okay temperature. Bomi and Jungkook played in it like little kids. Jimin and Taehyung too, splashing and tackling each other into the water. With Yoongi's injury, he sat under an umbrella with sunglasses perched on the bridge of his nose. Hoseok tanned alongside Seokjin, and Namjoon lounged in a beach chaise with a book in his hand. Yeah, a big tattooed man was reading a book. I couldn't believe it either.

My feet stayed on the shoreline as I took videos of the four playing in the ocean, my sandy toes getting swept away by the pull and push of the ocean's water. It felt nice. It smelled nice too. It was a moment of serenity.
