~{Suraki Todoroki's POV}~
3 months since the attack on Musutafu
Things have been quiet since that day happened. U.A is closed temporarily due to a few teachers being injured during the attack of Musutafu, news channels are constantly aflame with drama on what to do next now that the League has made itself a large presence once again. Repairs are still going on, which has filled the city with all sorts of new noise. And the police have been more active, more foot patrols and more patrol cars on streets alongside heroes to look for any signs of the League.
I was standing outside the fence of the construction site at the mall. Watching a few of the workers going about their days as though nothing even happened here. I mean, to them. Nothing really did apart from the League attacking, just another job they've been tasked with. For me though... This place is a bit more grim to me. Right here, is where Deku wasn't able to stop Shigaraki... Where my dad was injured and hospitalized, and where I lost my Boyfriend... I don't fully understand why he did it. He always talked about never joining Shigaraki, but yet. He's gone now, and I'm left mostly alone.
"Yo, Todo!" I looked over, seeing Zota and Kazu coming up with smiles on their faces. Behind them was Sakura and Kina, we were gonna be going to get lunch together today. I can't really say that i'm completely alone. I still see my friends, and we occasionally train to keep ourselves ready for when school starts again.
"Hey, thanks for meeting me here." I smiled slightly at the four of them, stuffing my hands into my pockets. I was wearing a navy blue cardigan with a white t-shirt underneath and some black jeans, I also had my satchel on me which had my laptop inside. Zota was wearing a red button up with a red riot t-shirt underneath and some blue jeans, Kazu was wearing a mint green hoodie and some black basketball shorts. Sakura was wearing a blue tank top with a black leather jacket and some tights, and Kina was wearing a grey hoodie with a yellow shirt underneath and a black skirt.
"Of course man!" Zota smiled before his gaze wandered to the spaces in the fence, looking down at the construction at the crater. Rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "So... This is where it went down huh?"
"Can't believe he just up and left like that... After all the good he had done." Sakura chimed in as she stood beside Zota. Sticking her fingers in some of the spaces of the fence while she looked with the rest of us.
"He had to have had a reason... He was way too adamant on defying Shigaraki..." Kazu said with a slight frown, keeping his gaze off the construction as he instead watched some of the passing cars.
"Maybe he had a plan?" Kina said in response, patting his shoulder slightly to help him relax. He didn't like being here too much since his dad got beat up here pretty bad.
"Maybe... But with all that's happened, I'm not sure." I sighed, shaking my head before looking at the rest of them. "But let's stop moping and worrying about it, it's not what he would want." Everyone soon had a varying look of happiness on their faces after I said that. Zota of course being the happiest.
"You're right man! We can't stay hung up on this, we have way too much to look forward to and be happy about! Now come on, let's go stuff our faces!" He raised his fist in the air and started walking ahead of us. "Onwards, my faithful followers!"
"Followers? What, are we in a cult or something now?" Sakura joked before we all started following behind Zota, I couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. It was always nice to be around them, even with all that's happened from Hagita to now, we're still pretty good friends. Nosido would love to see that...
We all went on our way to the shopping and restaurant strip that had been surging in popularity to sorta take place of the mall while things were being repaired. I honestly liked it more than the mall, it was more open and had a lot more access to fresh air. We arrived about fifteen minutes later and we already sorta split off into our little groups. We decided we would meet at the Takoyaki place after we were all done doing our shopping.
