~~{Suraki Todoroki}~~
Sitting out at the fairgrounds, or more so outside it. I would be staring up at the top of the ferris wheel, reminiscing on old times with Nosido as snow fell from the sky. After what had just transpired at his apartment... I wasn't sure how to feel... Was that really goodbye? Was he truly going to be gone from our lives? At least in the sense of who he used to be... Though... Coming to think of it... Whose to even say that the person that I fell in love with was even the same that entire time? It hurt to see the steady decline and toll all the chaos was having on him... All I could do was watch... But yet we stayed holding on, for as long as we could... Thats all that matters.
Letting out a soft sigh, I would soon smile. Getting up from my spot on the sidewalk as I started to make my way back home. Though soon, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Pulling it out to see a message from Nosido, all it read was 'watch out.' A confused look creeping over my face, I would start to glance around. Noticing a large amount of smoke in the distance outside of the city, wondering if that's what he was referring to.
However, my confusion was soon answered by an aggressive force grabbing me on the shoulders. Letting out a shocked gasp as I was swooped up into the air, clutching my phone tightly in one hand as I yelled and glanced up to see what had even grabbed me. My eyes widening as I saw who it was, before my eyes squinted into a glare.
"You."
"Hello lover boy, hope you don't mind the height!" He would let out a deranged laugh as he took me higher and higher. Seeing the ground getting further and further away as my eyes would widen in shock. It didn't take long for us to be passing over some rooftops, I was running out of time to act. Thinking quick, I would glance ahead. Seeing a building coming up that was going to be close enough for me to drop onto. I swiftly formed a ball of ice in my free hand, waiting for just the right time before chucking the ball straight at his face. The ice smashing into pieces as it made contact and he yelled out in pain. Losing his grip on me as I fell maybe about 6 feet before landing on the roof. Yelling in pain as I had landed on my feet wrong, my right ankle giving out and making me fall over on my side and groan.
Trying to get back up, I would be okay on my left ankle. But as soon as I got pressure down on my right, it would give out again. Making me yell again too as pain shot through my nerves up my leg, letting out a shaky breath as I tried to compose myself. However, there wasn't much time for that. Hearing a light thud in front of me, I would see the winged figure looming over me. His piercing hawk-like eyes staring at me as he had a wide grin on his face.
"How... Did you even find me?"
"We cloned your phone, didn't we? Pretty easy to get a location update from that." He would chuckle softly, slowly standing up. Having his wings fully spread to cast a shadow over me, he would cross his arms and reach to his wings. Pulling out two long steel tipped feathers, and gliding the ends against each other to make an ear-piercing screech of metal scraping together. He would then use one to rest it under my chin and push my head up a bit more. "Heh, so you're his boyfriend. Pff, how he could fall for someone like you, I got no clue. So plain looking, you ain't got nothing on me."
"You fucking psycho... Is that what you're after? His heart?"
"Oh you'd be sorely mistaken, I had it, then. He got all hung up on his past life again, wanting to be his old self. It's fucking pathetic how much he tries to hang on, no matter how much we show him the freedom, the power that he has. He still chooses to want to be normal again." He would tap my shin slightly before suddenly shifting the feather and driving it deep into my shoulder, screaming out in pain as I felt the steel tip break through my skin and dig into my tissue and muscle. Blood spurting out to partially coat the feather as he then kicked me onto my back, letting out a deranged cackle. "But with you gone, he can be mine again. He won't have anything to go back to, so nothing but me will be left!"
Watching as he would rip the feather out from my shoulder, letting out another scream of pain before he brought both over his head. And swung downwards, I would take the chance to roll out of the way, just in the nick of time too as I heard them clang loudly as they dug into the concrete of the rooftop. He would let out groans, trying to pull the feathers back out with annoyed huffs. I would try to make a break for it, getting up to my feet as I hobbled and limped towards the stair access door on the roof. I would just reach it when one of his feathers was thrown just over my shoulder to dig into the door, turning my head and seeing him charging at me with his wings facing forward so that each metal tip was pointing at me like a wall of spikes rapidly closing in. "QUIT MOVING AND DIE ALREADY!"
"Not a chance!" I dived under his wings, putting my arm out to the side to clothesline his leg and make him slam down hard on his face. The winged man letting out a pained grunt as he got up on his knees, covering his face.
"GRR! YOU BROKE MY FUCKING NOSE YOU DICK!" He huffed angrily, flopping over onto his ass as he went to set his nose back into place. I would shift to be sitting as well, staring for a moment before I huffed and went to hold my ankle. Starting to make a layer of ice around it to start numbing the pain as I glared at him.
"Boo-fuckin-hoo... I'm getting really tired of you bastards messing with our lives... This ends today." Slowly getting up to my feet, I would channel my quirk more. My breath shifting to an even more noticeable frosty white as I drew in cold from the air around me as well, Ice sprawling out across my palms before starting to shape into an object in each hand, eventually taking on the shape of two daggers. Farukon would see this, a wide smirk spreading on his face before he got to his feet as well and grabbed two more feathers off of his wings.
"Now this is getting interesting... Question is, do you even know how to use those efficiently?" All I would do is squint in response, shifting my footing to get in a more defensive position. He would huff, circling me for a moment as I would mirror his movements until he lunged at me and went for a slash. Deflecting his with mine and getting a slice across his back as he yelled and staggered forward, letting out a sharp breath before turning to face me again. "Okay... Lucky shot.." The circling would start again, but this time. I would be the one to make the next move, charging at him as I would go for an over the shoulder attack before feigning and doing a crouch spin and driving one of the daggers into his leg instead. Making him scream in pain as I broke that end off to keep it lodged in place, backing away as I smirked softly,
"Still think it was a lucky shot?" He would look at me, grunting. His movements now being hindered as he tried to lunge at me, sidestepping the swipe he made and slashing his arm to make him drop one of the feather as he yelled in pain. Falling down to his good knee as his other leg had given out from the injury in the thigh, Taking the moment to kick him onto his back and press the cold tip of the ice dagger against his neck, leaning in a bit and applying some pressure. "Now... Do. You. Surrender..." Farukon would stare at me, a slightly worried expression was on his face for a moment. Grabbing my wrist with his now free hand with a derange smile.
"If I can't have him, then you won't either." He would yank my arm hard, my eyes widening as the blade drove deep into his neck, but just as it did. I would gasp out in pure pain that ended with a strained cough, glancing down as I saw he had positioned his other feather to be facing me. Using my positioning to drive me straight onto it, I was about to pull away when he yanked harder. Driving my dagger further into his neck while his feather drove deeper into my abdomen. Coating each other in our blood as I soon let go of the dagger, falling down beside him as he let out a gargled and choked laugh. Coughing up a bit of blood before he soon laid there motionless, his now lifeless gaze staring at me as I was left bleeding. My body trembled, letting out a whimper as I glanced around. Seeing my phone lying nearby, I would drag myself to it. Shakily punching in my passcode before I tried to call Nosido. No reply.
My heart started to sink, letting out a pained cry as I started to go down my contact list. Trying whoever I could as I mumbled to myself.
"P-please... Anyone... Just pick up, please..."
