"So, what's been going on since I've been in my coma?"
"Well... In general, most of the same... Things have gotten normal again without the League around to mess with our lives, though they're still looking for one of them that apparently got away."
"Eh, they'll find 'em... How about UA?"
"UA? Well, mostly the same there now too. Pretty much on our last year now so... Most of us have been looking into the agencies we'll be working for."
"Fuck, I have so much catching up to do..." Yuri would glance at me, a slight frown on his face as he slowly nodded.
"Yeah... You should probably figure out what they're gonna do about your hero license since you haven't been able to be in school for it."
"Yeah..." I would let out a slow sigh, the remainder of the walk was mostly quiet until we got to the sushi shop. Yuri would hold the door open for me, smiling at him faintly before I stepped inside. Yuri following in behind me as we went and got a table, taking off my jacket on the way over and resting it over the back of my chair before I sat down in the chair. "This place is nice..."
"I thought it would be nice to treat you to it since you've been gone so long... How's recovery been?"
"Long... I still have phantom pains and aches from when I had... AFO... Whatever pain I didn't deal with then because of the healing quirk is sorta coming back now. But my doctor said it should subside eventually."
"Yeah... I noticed pretty much all your scars are gone?"
"Yeah, aside from the one on my neck and some minor ones on my body. But all were either rewinded so that they didn't exist, or far too faded for me to care anymore about someone seeing them."
"And... Mentally?" I would pause for a moment, shifting my gaze to stare at Yuri before I glanced away and shifted in my chair a bit uncomfortably. "Horrible... I still hear him sometimes, Shigaraki. But it's not the real him... More like, I guess and echo of what he's said to me before... My nightmares are pretty bad some nights too... I... I don't think I'll ever get better mentally."
"Oh come on... You're strong Nosido."
"And I died, Yurin... I... I don't know if anyone heard but... For a brief few moments I was dead... But by some... Miracle or willpower, I fought it for at least a few more seconds to take Shigaraki down... Then after that, I guess it was Eri's work... She luckily got there in time before I was really dead for good..." Yuri would go quiet now, a faint look of guilt on his face as he glanced away from me.
"I-I'm sorry... I had no idea..."
"It's okay... I just... No you're right, I'll get better eventually... I gotta look at the good and hope for better."
"Therapist is saying that I'm guessing?" I chuckled softly, nodding and looking back at him, his look of guilt was gone as he had the faint smile on his face again. Soon enough, a waitress would come over. Getting our orders as we just ordered a plate of sushi that had enough for the two of us on it, Yuri would watch the waitress walk away for a moment before looking back at me. "What was it like... Dying I mean... If you're comfortable to say..."
"I'm not... But... It was... It was surreal... My whole body felt like it was asleep... Like when your arm is asleep, and you lose feeling for a bit? That's what the entirety of my body felt like... Maybe because I was still just barely hanging on... But... I was in the dorms... And everyone was there... They tried to ease me into it but... I just... Broke down at the first mentioning of me being dead... I couldn't handle it, as much as they told me it was okay and that I could just... Rest..."
