One Month Later
"Nosido!"
"Huh?" I would blink a bit glancing over at Suraki sitting beside me, he had a slightly concerned look on his face. I blinked a bit more, trying to decipher why we was looking at me that way before I tilted my head a little. "Something wrong?"
"I've been trying to get your attention for the past five minutes, Zota's gonna be here soon."
"Oh... Already? Sorry I.. I Must've been zoned out, that's been happening a lot lately..."
"Yeah... Hey, have things been... Okay? With the league? You guys haven't been doing much again..."
"To be honest, I got no clue. Shigaraki has been keeping his plan close to his chest ever since I caved in and joined them... I'm pretty much kept out of the loop, they don't trust me to know things until necessary... I'm just glad to have time to be normal again..."
"Fair enough... I... Still can't get over the red eyes. It's... They're really, well... Piercing" He would be staring into them as he spoke, lifting his hand to lightly caress my cheek. I would just shrug a bit, smiling faintly as I leaned my head into his hand a bit.
"I think they're kinda cool... What about the hair? Lost my wig so I had to dye it now."
"Hair I like, works well. Especially with your ink, which on that topic. It's nice to see you growing it out again."
"Yeah, I've kinda missed being able to do ponytails and stuff, oh, try not to rub too much or the makeup will come off."
"Right right." Suraki chuckle lightly and pulled his hand away, he was about to take hold of mine when the buzzer to my apartment went off. Glancing over, I'd soon get up and head up to the door to answer.
"Hey hey, Sidoon here."
"Oh sweet! This is the right place, good to hear from ya man. Which floor are you?"
"Fourth, room 404, end of the hall." I would press the buzzer on my end so that the buildings door would get unlocked, unlocking my apartment door and undoing the deadbolt before leaning against the wall, looking over at Suraki who was going to sit at the small kitchen Island. "Time to play pretend." He would nod in response, the two of us waiting a few minutes before there was a knock at the door, which I was swift to open. As soon as I did, I was met by a pretty sudden one armed hug from Zota as he pat my back.
"Look man, I wanna say that I'm really sorry for pressuring you at the theatre. I know that was awhile ago man but its been eating at me, I was being really stupid an-"
"Alriiight alriight, I forgive you." I chuckled slightly, putting on a more monotone voice as I gave his back and awkward pat before he finally let go. In his other arm he had a few grocery bags hung on it. "You can set those on the kitchen counter, who does that leave now... Kazu, Sakura, Kina."
"Mhmm! I texted them to let them know this was the right place, you live here on your own by the way? No parents?"
"Never had 'em really. So once I eventually aged out of care I had to hoof it on my own since then."
"Damn... Well it's a nice place." Zota smiled as he set the groceries on the kitchen counter and got his jacket off, a thicker jacket since it was getting to be further into the snowy time of year. He went and hung it up on the coat rack by the door before heading back into the kitchen to start getting the groceries out. "I got all the right stuff, right Suraki?"
