~{Suraki Todoroki's POV}~

The first snowfall of the year was here, and I wasn't exactly looking forward to it. With how my quirk is, being born with only my father's ice power makes the winter a pain, my body is already naturally cold. So adding coldness on top of that is not a good mix, but it at least wasnt getting too cold just yet. My brother really was lucky with getting dad's fire quirk, at least for when its in the winter.

I was sitting... Well, laying in bed. Looking through my phone at pictures of Nosido and I as I pondered where he could be, still wishing he would at least try to contact any of us. But by now, I knew that was a longshot for any of that happening. Letting out a slow sigh, I'd soon set my phone aside and sit up, rubbing my neck slightly before getting out of bed and heading to my closet. Throwing on a t-shirt and some shorts, I was just about to leave my room when I heard my phone vibrating on my nightstand. Glancing back towards it, I went back over and picked it up. Switching the screen back on to see that Kireah was calling me. A bit surprised, I hesitated for a moment before answering.

     "Hello?"

"Suraki? Good, wasnt sure if I saved your number right... Uh... I wanted to apologize for back at the theatre... I know it was a little bit ago now but... Its been eating at me, so. I was wondering if you'd maybe like to go and get something to eat with me? Down at the strip mall again? Since the mega mall is still getting rebuilt and all..."

"Really? Um... Yeah sure, that sounds pretty nice actually... I can swing by there in about ten minutes or so, we meeting at the entrance?"

"Yeah, sounds perfect. I'll see you soon."

There was a small moment of awkward silence before one of us finally decided to hang up, tossing my phone onto my bed. I'd head back to my closet, switching my shorts out for Jeans and throwing a sweater on over my shirt so I was a little warmer. Id then grab my phone and wallet before heading downstairs to the front door, slipping my shoes on and grabbing my set of keys for my dads car. I'd head out, hopping into the drivers seat of the car and getting buckled up before driving to the strip mall.

Pulling up and parking about fifteen or so minutes later, id glance around a bit before fully heading to the entrance. Eventually spotting Kireah who was staring at his watch until he noticed me. Kireah was wearing a black and dark grey tie dye hoodie with some black ripped jeans. Though noticeably lacking a mask to cover his face. He'd smile a bit as I came up, i was sorta staring at him after he did, which because of that. The smile faded slightly and was replaced with confusion.

"Something wrong?.. Also you're late, I almost called ya to see if you were still coming."

"It was only five minutes... And no, nothings wrong. Just... you remind me of someone, this is the first time technically that I'm seeing your face. Aside from when you're not eating."

"O-Oh... Yeah I forgot my mask today but, i'll be fine... Come on, theres a noddle shop on the strip here I wanted to eat at." Kireah would gesture for me to follow before sorta rushing off. Leading me to have to sorta rush too so I could keep up. It was a bit nice to hear from him again, especially since he seemed in a pretty good mood. He'd eventually slow down once we got about halfway in the strip mall, glancing around before pointing to a shop. "There, its got window seating too."

It didn't take long for him to start rushing over again, chuckling softly. Id soon rub my neck a bit as i took it a bit slower as I caught up to him by the time he was inside. Letting out a slight yawn since I was still waking up, Id glance over the menu. I was just going to suggest something when Kireah had interrupted me.

"How about Soba? Soba sounds pretty good." I'd glance down at him, he was smiling at me again. Another feeling of familiarity coming over me... I was thinking about Nosido, nodding before I glanced away, I'd let out a soft sigh that went unnoticed by Kireah, he would soon go up to the front counter and order before we both went and got a seat at one of the window booths. Kireah was glancing around in a curious manner, he was also a bit fidgety. Kicking his legs a bit, which was really starting to confuse me.
