Sorry about this break, this wasn't planned but as I said many times, something happened and I was feeling pretty bad, to the point I got sick and couldn't eat anything. It's clearly gotten better now so I'm glad.
And, first off, shoutout to my friend AliAliBuilder a.k.a. the ultimate police series and thrillers fan who helped me out on this part of the story so that it's way more logical and not as shitty as what I had first written.
(Just in case, she hasn't finished Guardian Demon yet and hasn't even started this book (I don't even know if she knows about MD) so the first person who'll dare spoil her anything will get soon enough a visit of mgd!shuichi 🙂)

Here's a summary :
Two years have gone by ever since Kokichi has confessed her feelings to Rantaro and their first date. Kokichi has moved in with Rantaro and the two of them still love each other very much and care for each other.
Kokichi discovers randomly a hidden message in Rantaro's confession letter, which turned out to be some threats. But after talking about it with him, it seems Rantaro never once wrote any confession letter.
The chapter ends on Rantaro, extremely serious, bringing Kokichi back in their appartment, after his father received a business card from the famous and dangerous phantom thief threatening to "take back the most beautiful diamond the Amami family has been jealously keeping for themselves for years now".
