"Wait a minute, Will." I say, "Who the hecko is Percy?"
"I am."
I turn in the direction of the voice, and am immediately surprised. A teenage boy. He is fairly tall, sun tanned just like Will, and his dark hair messy and in desperate need of a trim.
"Hey bro!" Will says as he walks over to Percy, as they bro hug, clapping each other's backs.
"Hey! Will, how's it going in the mortal world? Missing camp yet?" He, Percy, asks
I knew he went to a summer camp! I think triumphantly.
"The mortal world is fun, but, Percy, I think Nico here is gonna put up a fight. Did you happen to bring Blackjack?" Will asks Percy.
"Do I ever not have Blackjack?" Percy asks in a somewhat sarcastic tone.
"Alright, good point." Will says
"What the hell is a Blackjack?" I finally ask.
"Oh, come over here," Percy says.
I walk over by Percy and there's a large horse with wings standing near him.
"Uh, Percy?" I say
"Yeah?" He asks
"That's a... uh... that's a horse." I reply
"Yeah." Percy says. The horse then makes a whinnying sound. "He says you need to hurry up or he's gonna leave with out you, Nico"
"He what?" I ask Percy, "you can understand him?"
"Look, Nico," it's Will speaking this time. "We need to go. It's the only way you'll be safe."
