"Will?!" I wake in a terror, having had possibly the worst nightmare I've ever had.
"Shit! What Nico?" He asks, sitting up in bed next to me like a bullet.
"You're," I look at him and start to cry. "You're here." I begin to sob harder.
Will's eyes soften, the fear and anger from my waking him up so alarmingly gone. He instead hugs me. "I'm here."
"You were.. It was a dream," I tell him "You left me, you left me for Jason."
"I'm not going anywhere, Nico," Will says, "Jason can go suck a dirty brick for all I care."
"Everyone hated me," I continued, "Jason made up lies. He told Percy that I was trying to sleep with Annabeth, and told Annie that I was trying to sleep with Percy. They hated me. He told Thalia and Piper that I was trying to break them up. He kept saying 'what did you expect? He's the son of Hades for Gods sakes,' and he told Leo that I was trying to steal his and his siblings' blue prints, to give them to my father, so Hades can wage another war between the big three, and you, you left me for Jason"
"I won't leave you for Jason. Leo, Annie, Percy, Thalia, Piper, They're all your friends. Even if Jason tried something like that, they wouldn't believe him. Jason is spiraling and has been since Piper left him, and he's taking it out on you. Everybody can see that Neeks, he can't hurt you," Will tells me.
I nod as I begin to calm down and lay back down in Will's arms. Eventually, I fell back into a cozy slumber, the fear of Jason momentarily forgotten.

"Nico, wake up, it's our last day on vacation, I have something planned for us," Will says while shaking me from my slumber. He's still in his pajamas, a simple pair of gray sweatpants.
"Will, just like.. eight more hours please," I say, sleepily.
"Funny, Neeks," he replies, "get up, get dressed, get food, get out the door, meet me at the tree you epically failed at getting out of." With that, he leaves me to get ready to go. So, I do.

When I get out to the tree, Will has changed into a graphic t-shirt made to look like a tuxedo. He's carrying a small picnic basket and has a table cloth folded and slung over his shoulder.
"Come, young sir Nico, your table awaits," Will says in a horrible posh British accent.
"Young? I'm older than you though, William," I reply.
"Oui Oui," he says, and starts walking down a trail.
We walk for a good five minutes before he diverts off of the trail and walks along, moving tree branches and shrubbery aside to make way. We continue through the woods for a few more minutes until we come upon a small clearing. Off to one edge, there's what looks like an old picnic table. The legs of the table are covered in young vines, but the table itself seems to still be intact. Will motions me towards the table, so I go to it, and sit on one side of the table top, my feet resting on the bench meant for sitting, turned to face Will, who is still standing in the middle of the clearing.
"I found it while I went on a small adventure a couple days ago," He says, returning to his bad British accent, "I hid something under the soil over here. It's meant to be a surprise, so if you could turn around and face the other way while I uncover it, that would be great."
I turn around and hear Will digging slightly into the earth for a few moments, until he's found the hidden object, and lifts it out of the ground. There is silence for a few moments until i feel him tap my back, so I turn back around, only to be shocked.
He's holding a slightly dirty ring box in his hands.
