"Welcome to Camp Half Blood." Percy says as we touch ground for the first time since we left the college campus.
"Camp what now?" I ask, with a hint of stereotypical tumblr white girl sneaking into my voice.
"Camp Half Blood." Will says, "You are the son a one of the Greek Gods or Godesses. We don't know which one yet. Hopefully, one will claim you soon. Until then, you'll hang with Chiron."
"Ch- who?" I ask again.
"Chiron. He's right over - "
"Behind you." Says a voice from behind
I am taken aback by this creature. Half man, half horse.
"He's a centaur." Percy says, noticing my extreme look.
"Let's get a look at you," Chiron says
Behind me I hear Percy and Will whispering.
"Who do you think he is?" Percy asks
"He's pretty. Maybe Aphrodite?" Will replies
"Can't be, he's too slim. Not quite pretty enough."
"Ares?" Will tries
"Not strong enough." Percy says "Do you think he's one of the Big Three?"
"Doubt it." Will replies "Poseidon learned his lesson with you. Zeus with Thalia. The only one left is Hades. And Hades, is NOT a people type of God."
"Who then?" Percy asks
"Hephaestus?" Will says
"Nah, he's not the right type. I mean honestly, imagine him being Leo's brother! It just doesn't work."
"Good point," Will replies "What about Iris?"
"Oh yeah, that bundle of joy, the son of the rainbow Goddess, I'm sure." Percy says, very sarcastically.
"I'm, uhm, right... right here, ya know." I say to them, Chiron still walking circles around me.
"Oh yeah, sorry man." Will says "You should get claimed soon enough. Probably tonight at the bonfire. Be there or be square." With that, Will and Percy walk away.
