Chapter 010: Interesting

Austin left later on in the night, making sure to give me a kiss I won't forget. My stomach was doin jumping jacks and my heart would beat so fast. No one has ever made me feel like this. Victoria still hasn't returned to the hotel room; causing me to worry. I phoned her twice and left her some messages, but no response. I knew she was with Alex, but I hoped she was safe.

I stood up a while longer, looking through my clothing for my date with Austin for tomorrow. He said he'd take me on a shopping date, movie, dinner, and a night walk. I was so excited and couldn't stop blushing. I heard the door lock click, and as I look up, I see Victoria enter though the door. "Tori! Where have you been? I left messages!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just got... caught up." Her response sounded distracted and she tried to avoid the question. I caught a faint blush on her cheek, and seeing her hair a bit wild, and lipstick smudged, I put two and two together. My eyes widen. "You did not! Victoria!" She seemed to realize that I figured it out and tried to calm me down.

I was beginning to scream and she begged for me to quiet it down; her hands covering my mouth. I roughly push her arm down. "You slept with him!?" I gritted. "Answer me." She nodded and bit on her lip, as she rubbed her arm. I pulled her by her hand, forcing her to sit on her bed. "Explain. And do not leave anything out."

Victoria is her own person. It's not any of my business what she does or who she gets involved in. What really angered me, was just how easily she gave herself away to Alex. Alex was a great guy, but there's still so much one may not know. I know for a fact, I would not give myself to Austin, until it is the right time and when we are further into our relationship. I only fear that maybe one day she will regret it. Regret that she didn't wait a bit longer. Or maybe in that moment she was ready, but after realized she really wasn't.

She and I got into an argument, leaving her not speak with me for the rest of the night. I acted the way I did was because of the past. She gives her heart away to easily. And who's there to pick up the pieces of her broken heart again and again? Me. I don't want her to get hurt again.

The next morning came, and she was still giving me the silent treatment. We had only a day or two left; I didn't want us to be in bad terms for a trip that was given to us. We are in silence, Victoria occasionally scrolling through her phone. After I finished, I began to shower and dress for my date.

When Austin knocked at our door, Victoria ran to it, probably thinking it was Alex. She looked disappointed before going to back to her food. "I'm going out with Austin today. I'll be back later on today." Grabbing my purse, I turned once more. "If you are going out, no matter what, let me know."

We were in FootLocker, Austin looking through the many different shoes, scanning and observing his favorites. I sat and was in awe of the style. And their prices? My goodness, I could never spend that much. Austin brought me some new clothing and new makeup; me trying to tell him that he doesn't have to. He's not obligated in any way. "But I want to. Allow me, please." And with those large puppy eyes he put, I gave in.

As we shopped from Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, FootLocker, Payless, and the many more men and shoes store, we stopped to get some lunch. It was my treat. The lady at the register continuously blushed and flirted with Austin as we gave our orders. I felt myself grow jealous, and as she began to push her breasts together to get his attention, completely ignoring me, I flicked her in the forehead.

"I would appreciate it, if you will stop showing your cleavage and trying to show off your body please in front of my boyfriend. Frankly it's rude, and not a pretty sight to look at."

"Girl, what are you giving him? You look like one of these girls who can't pleasure her man." She snickered.

"Do not assume things about our relationship. Are you even in one? No. So stop your flirting and attempts to seduce men. It's so tacky of you." With that last said, I grabbed Austin's hand, and pulled him away from the small eatery. We'll skip our late lunch and head to dinner. "Ahhh!" I scream out. "I want to smack her in her horribly contoured face!" I felt so jealous and angry.

Austin chuckled. "That was interesting to see." I glared at him and took deep breaths. "You said boyfriend.." he trailed. "Although we're still fresh and new, maybe soon we can be like that? You're pretty much mine, so my boyfriend."

"Your logic is cute. I accept." He smiled as he kissed me. "Now let us go get food."
