Chapter 029: Healing

6 MONTHS LATER

In those next six months, it took a while for Austin, the crew, and I, even our families to get back into old routines. Too much had happened. Samuel, Victoria, the henchmen were all arrested and sent to prison. They would be kept there for a long time and Austin took more precaution, hiring a body guard to be with us at all times and if we go somewhere in public. New video cameras were set up around the house and even my moms house too. We never know if there's going to be another person who tries to do us harm.

We even attended therapy. Even counseling. At one point, Austin and I continued breaking out into arguments; snapping at one another, sleeping in different rooms and avoiding each other for a few days. I feared that we would break up.. The guys had sat down and talked with us. They voiced their concerns and the two of us realized that we should get help. The love we have for each other is real. We want to pursue it. Now we have returned to our usual selves. We're still getting back into old habits but it felt amazing to be this close to Austin yet again. And this time, we'd make sure it stays that way.

"Happy Anniversary!" I was coming home from studying at the library and upon entering, I see the inside of the house decorated in steamers, flowers, and balloons. Austin stood there with a beautiful bouquet of orchids and that beautiful smile of his. I blushed and took him in for a hug. Tears brimmed at my eyes and my heart warmed with joy.

"Happy anniversary Ameezy." I said, wiping a few of my tears. Austin lead me to the kitchen where a beautiful dinner was prepared. "I made all your favorites. And, I saved the best for last." Austin presented an adorable small cake with hand pipped buttercream and writing in frosting. It was the cutest thing. "Allow me, my love." The chair was pulled out for me and we sat there eating happily, exchanging our gifts and having a wonderful time. It was definitely and well needed.

Luck came the guys during this time too. Robert began to travel more often, growing a fondness to it, and chose to move out the house, into his own apartment. Zach began his own clothing line, designing T-shirts, jackets, and even cars. He too moved out and found himself a girlfriend. Her name is Samantha, and she and I are good friends. Alex eventually moved out as well. He got better and moved on from past with Victoria, freelancing jobs, and got his own apartment with a new dog.

So much had changed. We expected nothing to be the same as it was once was, but we remained true to ourselves. The guys were welcome to come back at any time if they wished, and they do come over frequently from time to time.

Austin began touring again, making new music, and of course he wanted me to tag along. It was so exciting to go traveling with him, experiencing all that he did when he toured. His songs were becoming huge bops and played continuously on the radios and in stores. My heart grew fond and I was so proud of his hard work.

We were healing. And it really showed.

"Sushi, sushi, I love my sushi." Austin danced happily in the hotel room holding a bag of takeout food. Currently we were in Tokyo, Japan. Here, he has so many fans and his music is popular here. Fans were beginning to become kinder and more accepting to me. It was only a rare case for a fan to lash out at me.

I laid in bed, reading a book while an anime played on the television. While Austin sang and danced happily with his food, I took the time to record this moment, posting it to my Snapchat. "Ey, Ameezy, you gonna share some of that?" I laugh.

"Of course baby, come here." He smiled. Joining him at the table, we ate as we watched the anime. It's only natural to goof and make a mess while eating. We threw some food at each other and laughed until our stomachs hurt. "God, I love you." We shared a romantic and passionate kiss before gradually pulling away. "Hmm, wasabi."

This chapter focused on the changes that occurred to them, and I included some light hearted, cute couple moment. It's a nice change after all the drama from previous chapters.
