For the next two days Victoria and I have been preparing and packing for our trip to Miami. Miami is where Austin and his crew live, also where his last concert is taking place. We are going at the perfect time.
My mother would be driving us down there, Victoria's parents paying for gas. When the day came, we loaded our suitcases and began to begin the long, two hour drive. My mother gave us the lecture speech about being safe.
"Make sure you two stay by each others side no matter what. If one has to go to the bathroom, you will go with. Do be sure to alert us about where you are going. No talking to strangers; or following. If you feel unsafe go straight to the police station. Please be safe and cautious at all times."
Victoria looked at me and I shook my head. My mother always gives this speech about the importance of our safety. I could tell Victoria wasn't used to it, but I later assured her that it's normal. Assuring my mother that we will follow the rules, we arrived at the hotel. Getting help settled in, we both thanked my mother and hugged her. "Don't worry, mama. We will be safe. You be safe driving back home. Thank you."

Although we weren't the ones who drove, we were tired. Each entering our own beds, we passed out, leaving the unpacked suitcases and bags on the floor.
Awaking an hour two later, we saw that it was getting late in the afternoon. Deciding to order some pizza, we took turns showering, and began to pull ourselves to unpack our bags. Hanging up our clothing, filling our drawers with our bras and panties, and displaying our makeups, and the hygienic cares, the pizza finally arrived.
As I grabbed my wallet and opened the hotel room door, there was one person who I was not expecting at all. Jake stood before me wearing a 'Little Caesars' uniform and holding our pizza. "Well, well, look who it is." He snickers at me before checking me out in my T-shirt and shorts. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Especially from him.
"Excuse me, my eyes are up here." I speak as I caught his eyes focus on my breasts poking through my shirt. I cover my chest and glare at him. "Jaylynn, have you paid yet?" We both hear Victoria call out. She came to the door and once seeing Jake, her smile fell. "Why are you here?"
"Working. What else?" He replied harshly. Before the two could continue a bickering, I intercepted. "Could you just tell me how much I have to pay and then you could go?" Jake smiled as he looked at me. "On the house." He smirked, as he got to my level. I would not allow his actions to make me feel scared or timid. Grabbing the pizza and pushing his harshly out the doorway, I slammed the door in face.

"Jake is so slimy." Victoria said as she took a slice of the pepperoni pizza. I nodded and continuously look towards the door. Jake left such a weird feeling on me. One where I feared his presence, that his actions and unspoken words speak so much for him. Jake is very possessive and that scares me. He knows where Victoria and I are staying. He knows our floor, room number, and that we're alone.
I try not to think too much about it. I am on spring break with my best friend, and we're going to see Austin's concert, and we're going to have fun. Focusing on those thoughts, I began to eat some pizza as well while we watch some television.
It was when my phone dinged, that I felt a pull at my heart, a dull ache in my gut. Unlocking my phone, I saw I received a text message. From Jake..??
Victoria saw how distraught I was and warmly comforted me. This has to be a threat. I felt myself grow scared; my strong barrier breaking. This is no right...
