Chapter 07: The U Girl

My phone storage was full, cutting off some footage of his current performance. He played almost every song from his album and EP. Victoria, the crowd of fans, and I all sang and screamed. By the end, my voice was cracking and sore. He and his entire crew did fun games and some even had made us too small fun tasks. When it went dark, I had assumed maybe that was end of the concert.

When the lights dimmed back on the stage, and the smoke running across the ground, there stood Austin displaying a chair. The chair where the U Girl will sit! My heart was palpitating and I looked all over the stage. "Now, which one you, lovely ladies will like to my U Girl?" So many screams erupted; deafening my ears. Austin came to the foot of the stage, places his hand under his chin, and scans the crowd.

Upon looking in my row, his and my eyes met. The warm feeling returned and I blocked out everything. In that moment, it felt like it was only him and I. He was looking only at me. It was an intense stare, broken by Victoria shaking me. "He chose you! He chose you!" She laughed and jumped up happily.

I was in a daze. This was all so surreal. One of Austin's  dancers came into the crowd, and pulled me by my hand. Directing me up the steps, Zachary, or Zach, one of Austin's closest friends, took my hand and directed me to the seat. I was shaking and looking out to the crowd, so many girls were screaming. Next thing I knew, the song was playing.

Austin wasn't seen on the stage, but he was beginning to sing. Sitting in the chair, I look down at my lap, and smile as I hear his soft voice. Robert, another close friend, came up to me, giving me a small beige bear, which had to been the most fluffiest thing I ever touched. Zach came out with a small princess tiara, displaying it on my head. Alex came out with the largest bouquet of roses. I gasped at the sight, and nervously held it. It was so beautiful.

Next thing I knew, I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me. Looking to my right side, I see Austin's face close to my own, smiling and leaning against my shoulder. I'm sure he could feel how much i was shaking of heart how fast my heart was beating. I felt myself tear up, and as his hand cupped my cheek, I shyly placed my free hand on top.

He sang to me as he hugged and held me in his embrace. He smelt so wonderful; an earthy and fresh odor. His cologne filled my nostrils; I would smell this all the time if I could.

Austin's POV:

As I sang to the beauty before me, I was able to ask and find out that Jaylynn was her name. It was so unique and suited her wonderfully. When at the hotel, I recognized her from the mall that same day. And when picking my U Girl, she was here again. It was as if a sign, he and I somehow always seeing each other.

Her frame fit perfectly in mine, and when holding her cheek, it was soft and there was something strong as I would meet eyes wit her. I was so fascinated. As the song came to an end, yet the instrumental playing, I took her to the entrance of the stage, setting down her flowers, bear, and tiara. The curtain dropped, only our silhouettes showing.

This would be the moment, where I would kiss my U Girl. I would usually kiss the girls cheek and leave my lips linger; making it look as if I was kissing them. But with Jaylynn, I cupped her cheeks, looking deep into her eyes, before placing my lips against hers. Her arms were around my torso. She tensed but kissed back.

There were so many fans screaming. The kiss turned deep, but I had to stop. Slowly pulling away, our foreheads met and we looked at one another with dazed eyes. She smiled and I only returned that smile.

After the concert had ended, I would now be doing my backstage fan meets. Jaylynn was taken away from me after the kiss, and I felt a pull at my heart. I didn't want to let her go. As I speak with some fans and take photos of them, the last two came up. It was Jaylynn and her friend, the same one from the mall. I smiled instantly and rushed immediately to hug her. This felt so right and perfect.

A U T H O R S • N O T E:

AHHH!! Jaylynn and Austin have kissed! Oh my god! I'm legit fan-girling over my own story! 😂 Austin followed his instinct and got to kiss the girl whom he had just met. Ahh, one may dream.

About the part where it looks as if he is kissing the U Girl, I'm not sure what really happens behind that backdrop, so I took a stance and made my own version up of it. How I wish to be that girl!!
