The next day I phoned Victoria to see if she would like to spend the day over. I didn't mention anything about the tickets; wanting it to be a surprise. She accepted, telling she'd come over in an hour. My brother returned to his home and my mother went to work. My father? Well.. we don't talk about him.
Cleaning my room of the messy bed and dirty clothes, I do a quick passover of dusting and cleaning the bathroom a small bit. Making sure the rest of the house was clean and dust free, I pick out a variety of snacks and took out some pizza and finger foods. I displayed everything on the dining table and grabbed some movies we could watch.
I felt the excitement run through my veins, every time I saw the tickets laying on top of my desk. Showering and getting dressed, my phone dinged.

Victoria arrived and we were in the middle of eating some snacks, whilst watching a movie. We spoke of random things; little drama and gossip that we both conversed. It was like watching it's own movie! The thought of the tickets, and I had to spill. I couldn't wait any longer.
Rushing from the couch, to my bedroom, then back to the sofa, Victoria watched with stunned yet confused eyes. "What was that?" She laughed. I handed her the envelope. She screamed out in joy once realizing what they were. "Jaylynn! Oh my god!!" We hugged each other and squealed loudly. "How did this even happen!?"
"My brother and my mama pitched in and got this for me! For doing good in school and during spring break, they wanted me to go and have fun! They got an extra ticket for you to come along with me!" Victoria's mouth fell agape. She looked shocked; not knowing what to say. "They didn't need to get me a ticket..."
"They wanted to. Our parents know how close we are and our love for them. Your parents pitched in and they are alright with us going. Come on, Tori! This is Austin we're talking about! Let's try to enjoy this event for as long as we can." I assure her.
Victoria skimmed her fingers over the tickets once more before looking up and smiling. "Let's go."

The rest of the day, we continued watching our films and eating the snacks. I asked if she would like to spend the night, of course us asking for permission first. We ate dinner with my mother and got to eat some ice cream for dessert. Victoria non-stopped thanking my mother for thinking of her and half purchasing a ticket for her.
In my bedroom, we took turns with showers, and I allowed Victoria to borrow a pair of pajamas. She had her own small care kit underneath my sink; her having her own new essentials. In each other's home we leave a small kit full our needs that will be there in case of emergency or if we have a sleepover.
Jamming to Austin Mahone, we sang, using our hairbrushes as microphones and laughed as we couldn't get the choreography correct. Out of breath, we both fell asleep in an instant.
