The sun was shining and there wasn't a single cloud in the sky. A perfect day to celebrate her birthday, or so Mimi thought. It was late afternoon and she and her sister Molly were walking to the restaurant, where they wanted to meet up with their friends. "So, after we picked up the pizzas, what had we planned for the rest of the day? We wanted to go to the lake and later, in the evening, our plan was to have a sleepover at Flora's house, right?", Molly asked. Mimi nodded. When they arrived at the restaurant, Flora and Sascha were already waiting for them. "You took your time, birthday girl!", the female with the pink hair yelled as she noticed the two girls. "Uh actually you were too early because I am always on time", Mimi responded. After she had said that Sascha coughed theatrically a few times. "Are you sure about that though?", he smilingly said. While the three continued joking, Molly, who was one year younger than them, stayed silent. The blonde never really liked being the center of attention, so she mostly listened to her friends talking when they were meeting up. After they finished joking, they went inside. The restaurant had two entrances, one for the main rooms with tables and animatronics, the other one, just for one room, for the food to go. Both parts of the building were connected with a long corridor that also led to the toilets and the office. However, the group wanted to take their pizzas with them to the lake, so they ordered them to go. The group was told to wait for about fifteen minutes. While they were waiting Molly and Flora had to go to the toilet, leaving Sascha and Mimi alone.
On their way back the two girls noticed the door to the parts and service room standing slightly open. Out of curiosity, Flora entered the room. After making sure nobody was able to see them, Molly slowly followed her. She was granted with the sight of multiple animatronic parts standing on shelves and plastic eyes staring at her, later said thing kind of scared the girl. Flora on the other side of the room was the complete opposite and seemed quite fascinated by the glass eyes. When the other female made her way around the table that was standing in the middle of the room, she noticed a newspaper article laying on it. Before even having the chance to take a closer look, Flora grabbed the paper. "Boy died because of springlock failure", she read out loud. "That happened last week if I remember correctly. What a terrible accident", the younger one mumbled as a reply. "I'm still surprised that it was just a little side article. To be honest, I wouldn't have seen it, if my father hadn't shown it to me. They had to install a new electronic in the robot, but the restaurant is still open", Flora continued. Suddenly, they heard a crack and turned around, only to see a man leaning on the closed door. "Why are you in here? Didn't you see the sign on the outside? Employees only?", he asked in a strict, cold voice. Feeling a bit embarrassed about her curiosity, Flora cleared her throat. "We are very sorry, I was getting carried away by my curiosity and so me and my friend, who just followed me, entered. It won't happen again", she answered. The female figured, telling the truth would be better. The man nodded and took a step aside. However, when the girls wanted to leave the room, he quickly grabbed a pipe from one of the shelves and before the two noticed him, he had already hit them on the back of their heads. They trembled for a second, then they fell. To not let their fall make loud noises, he catched their bodies and carefully laid them on the floor. He checked their pulse and, as he had expected, it was low. That meant that they were definitely going to die. "You'll be a great addition to the family", he whispered before sneaking out of the room to get his keys which he left in the office. Since there was no reason for the other employees to enter the room, he wasn't worried, but he figured it would be safer to lock the door. He had an advantage with that. Being the one responsible for the animatronics, he was the only one with a key for that room.
Meanwhile, Sascha and Mimi started to get slightly annoyed that the girls didn't return yet. "I don't want to say anything, but did they drown in the toilet or what is taking them this long?", the female asked. As a response, the boy just shrugged his shoulders. What should've happened? "Maybe they enjoy looking at themselves in the mirror and forgot the time", he then said. Mimi shook her head. "I highly doubt that, my sister isn't that type of person and Flora would rather do that at home", she answered. "But I thought all you girls would do that?", he asked smilingly. That smile faded after Mimi had - even though she knew he was being sarcastic - hit him on the back of his head. When they looked at the counter the woman working there waved at them to tell them their pizza was done. The two teenagers paid and left the restaurant, passing some other people on their way out. On the outside, they waited five more minutes for their friends, then decided to go and look for them. Something just felt very off. They put the pizza on a bench not far from the building, after that they went inside again. They didn't seem to be noticed by the staff and went straight in the hallway to the toilets. While Mimi walked past the parts and service room, Sascha suddenly stood still because he noticed something on the doorknob. He called his friend back and took a closer look. It was blood. They looked at each other in concern, then opened the door and entered.
As the man walked down the hallway, he saw two people enter the room with the corpses. He had lost his keys in the office, so he had to search for them for quite a long time. However, he now hurried to get to the room. He snug in and quickly grabbed the pipe that he had left next to the door and hit the girl and the boy who were focused on the corpses and in shock on the back of their head. They didn't hear him coming. After checking their pulse, he put the bodies next to the other ones. He took a tissue and cleaned the blood from his hands and the doorknob. The man locked the door and went back to work. The restaurant would close in half an hour, half an hour later, someone would come to clean the main rooms, lastly, when night fell, he would be able to take care of the corpses. He didn't need to worry about the cleaners, since they didn't have to take care of the parts and service room.

When the cleaners had left, Toby went to the parts and service room. The man's happy face earlier had recalled bad memories, so he wanted to check. His unwell feeling proved itself as true after he had opened the door...
