"If he is what I think he is..."

"Already here?", a cleaner who was packing his stuff asked and Luca nodded. He was extra early because he figured that the animatronics won't dare to show their real faces while there were more people. The male hurried to the office and closed the door. Hopefully, Mimi found a way to keep on the power. Didn't she say something about getting a key for the fuse box? The male sat down on the office chair and looked at the monitors for the different cameras. He felt a shiver crawl down his spine when he saw the last cleaner leaving. Now he was alone. Maybe a minute more and the animatronics will start their hunt. Suddenly, something hit him and threw him on the ground. Luca was terrified at first but then he realized it was Mimi sitting next to him. She must've jumped out of the vent. "You forgot something", she said in a teasing manner. "And you couldn't just tell me like a normal person but instead by giving me a heart attack?!", he complained, and the female chuckled. She stood up and walked over to the desk where she pressed a button to close and lock the vent. Annoyed, Luca also stood up, then put the chair back up and sat down. A few seconds later, they heard scratching on the vent door. Most likely Flora. The male was scared, and his sight fell onto the monitor that showed the main stage. It was completely empty. "Are you sure that vent thing will hold?", he assured himself and Mimi nodded. "I guess it will", she answered, earning a shocked glance. "You guess?! What if it doesn't?!", he yelled. The female gave him a little smile. "Then we're fucked", she stated but then shook her head and pointed at the closed vent. Everything was quiet again. Either whoever was in there left or they were waiting. Waiting for Mimi and Luca to open the vent. But since the fuse box was locked, resulting in the power staying on, this wouldn't happen until the end of the night. Luca took a deep breath and took out the list with the tasks.

The male sat down and started looking at the different monitors. After Mimi gave him a questioning glance, he flinched his shoulders. "There are no tasks left for this week. I guess we'll just stay here and watch the monitors", Luca said. Mimi shook her head. "Actually, I want to find out more about Toby. And since I saved your ass, I'd appreciate it if you'd helped me with that", she stated. The male thought for a moment. He didn't expect something to happen in the restaurant and as long as he still would be able to watch the monitors, there wouldn't be anything wrong with helping. "Sure. What do you want me to do?", he asked curiously. Mimi gave him a happy smile, then opened the door to a shelve under the desk. The animatronic pulled out three folders. "Yesterday, before you arrived, he said something about newspaper articles. They should be around here somewhere, along with something else", she explained, handing Luca one of the big folders. He quickly skipped through it, then gave it back. "That's just financial stuff. Aren't there labels on them?", he wanted to know. The female chuckled. "Yes, I suppose that's something that would speed this up", she mumbled before reading the labels on the other two folders. She put the folder Luca gave her and one of the others back. "On here, it writes 'Shouldn't happen again'. I guess we could find them in there", Mimi stated, placing the folder on the desk. Out of the three she had at the beginning, this was the smallest. Probably good for something titled 'Shouldn't happen again'. Luca was looking at the monitors and the female decided to not bother him. Maybe she wouldn't need any help. When she opened the folder, she found exactly what she expected. The first newspaper article was about the restaurant opening again, the second one about the discovery of their bodies, showing it was ordered by date, starting with the newest incident. The female turned the page and found the article about the boy that died because of the spring lock failure three weeks ago. Mimi had the suspicion that this was Toby. The only reason she remembered the article her mother had shown her some time ago was Flora. Her friend told her about it distracting her and Molly. Mimi read the small text but there wasn't anything that could help her identify the boy. No name, barely anything about family - the article just read he was the owner's son. It also said he was seventeen but that wasn't important. For a moment, Mimi thought. Hypothetically, if Toby was that boy, he was the owner's son. He said the owner was the murderer and since they killed him, this would mean...The female shook her head, eyes wide open when she realized. "He killed his father", Mimi muttered. Luca turned his head in her direction. "What?", he asked, unsure if he understood her correctly. "If Toby is who I think he is, he killed his own father. Adding that it seemed like he had fun planning it and so on", she told the male. He looked concerned and Mimi realized it was just this second when he understood what she told him the day before and that things were worse than he expected them to be. "Took you long enough", she taunted, then turned the page. The animatronic quickly skipped through the rest, there were mainly rather normal things, handwritten notes. Nothing about Toby or any other human who died in the restaurant. He just had to be that boy. Mimi took a deep breath. If they dared to make the slightest mistake, they were more than screwed.

"And now?", Flora asked, looking at the male who was sitting on the stage. Toby shrugged his shoulders in annoyance. "There's nothing we can do. That rat stole the keys", he stated. "Furthermore, the doors are massive, so we can't just push them open. We can wait until the end of the night, however, I suppose it could be pretty risky to try to kill him then. You remember the time we needed two weeks ago. It wasn't done in just ten minutes. I really need the keys back", he continued, and Flora nodded. "What do we do in the main time?", she asked, playing absent-mindedly with the volume control of one of the speakers. Toby chuckled, then pressed a button on the keyboard standing behind him. A tune started to play quietly. The male walked up to Flora and offered her a hand. "Care to dance?", he asked.
