An Unexpected Confrontation

I notice that Anastasia is wearing a very loose fitting dress. Elliott ask me if she is gaining weight and something is off about her. She smiles.
Elliott
She has been avoiding Christian like the plague have you noticed her leave as he gets close to where she is. Mia is acting oddly as well.
Mia
I watch as Christian tries to get closer to Anastasia and she moves further away from him. Suddenly we can't find her, then we see her pushing a cart out with a beautiful wedding cake.
Anastasia
I had Annabelle wear a similar dress to mine so I could hide from Christian. She nods and heads to get the cake in position. Mom tells me to go check on Leila and the kids. I take her some of the food to eat for her and the children. I didn't notice that Christian was behind me.
Christian
Anastasia do you have something to tell me?
Anastasia
What do you mean?
Christian
Are you pregnant or is my sister mistaken about the baby bump you have?
Anastasia
I am pregnant, but I am handling it so don't worry about it.
Christian
Is it mine?
Anastasia
Does it matter?
Christian
To me it does.

Then yes they are your children and I am keeping them. You and I just had a one night thing, so you don't need to worry about me or the children. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. We agreed remember.

My family would never forgive if I ignored the fact I am going to be a father. I want to be the father of the baby. I heard about the class action suit, so I know you didn't get pregnant on purpose, either way I am a father to be. So you got pregnant the night we spent together in Vegas talk about timing.
Anastasia
I don't expect anything from you at all. You can walk away, as a matter of fact it would be better if you did. I make a good living as an attorney and I earn money here as well. So I am very well set for raising the children. I think they would do better not being known as the children of a billionaire playboy. No disrespect to you, but you are in the news quite often with women on your arms. I also think you don't need children hindering your bachelor activities.

Why is it so important for you to be in their lives? You can sign your right away and not look back like you did in Vegas. I saw the photos of the other young women you saw the the rest of the time you were there, so I really don't want that kind of life for my children. Them seeing pictures of their father with a new women every night. Excuse I have other things to do. I unlock the apartment door and go inside and lock the door. No point in arguing all of this now.

I can't believe she isn't going to let me be involved in my child's life. Wait, she kept saying children as in more than one, no wonder she is so big. She is carrying more than one child. I head back up and go talk to Annabelle and Carla about her being pregnant.
Annabelle
Christian asks to speak to me for a moment. Then asks me about Anastasia being pregnant. He stopped mom and asked her how long we knew about the pregnancy. I told him we found out the first few weeks because she kept getting ill and lost weight and still hasn't put it back on.

I knew within the first two weeks, because of the throwing up all the time. So you finally found out she is pregnant with your children.

Yes, but how many are there?

So far they have seen twins, but they aren't sure if the number yet. I pull out the photo Anastasia just gave and show it to him. The photos is blurred, because they suddenly moved the wand just before they shot it.
Annabelle
She wants to keep them and doesn't need help from you and would prefer that you don't claim being their father because of the newspapers and you seeing a new female every evening.

I want to be part of my children's life and she doesn't want me to be anything to them. Can you talk to her, because if I have to I will sue for partial custody. I don't want to have to do that, but I will.

Yes twins. She says I don't have to be involved at all, but I want to be their father and be involved with them.

Mia told me about her being pregnant and knew about our one night in Vegas, she asked if I could be the father, so I was finally able to catch up with Anastasia and she confirmed the pregnancy and that they are my babies. She wants nothing from me, she wants me to sign my right away and I don't want to. She says she can raise them without me. She says they will be safer if no one knows I am their father because of all the threats.

Carla you and Annabelle are needed, they are running out of things. I guess you all know about Anastasia being pregnant at this point and that Christian is their father. She didn't want a thing from him and can raise them without him being involved in any way at all. I don't agree with her, because they need to know both their mother and father. But you have a playboy life and threats are made regularly against you all. I see her point in that aspect. Once people know the children are a billionaire bachelor they will be unsafe and the women you deal with might use them somehow.
