Indifference

Annabelle
Sarah is lucky I have allowed her near our children after what she did on the birth certificates. She crossed the Grand Canyon and she is going to have find her way back across it to get in everyone's good graces, for now we are just indifferent to her. Thomas told her that if she pulls ant other underhanded things we won't allow her to be around us or the babies.
Thomas
I had a long talk with my mother and she knew what I said to her wasn't prompted by Annabelle but straight from me. Everyone feels the same way about what she did. My mother in law is still livid about my mother and her brazen attempt to name our children. I have no doubts that holidays will be like world peace negotiations, tensions run high and this year my mother is in the hot seat. Now that we have children the battle for who goes where and when is a tricky issue for all concerned. I am already going through who gets to babysit first. My mother is going through me to get her turns, she knows it is futile to talk to Annabelle at this point.
Sarah
I have dug a hole so deep I can see China. I saw the opportunity to get my choice of names for my grandchildren and I took it. I had no idea the war I started and all the weapons are pointed at me. I still think I chose better names for the babies. Now I am getting the cold shoulder from Annabelle and her whole family. The exception to this is Carla and she came at me head on. She told me to own up to my wrongdoing and apologize or possibly not seeing my grandchildren alone ever.  Anastasia won't talk to me period. Annabelle and the babies are home and I am not allowed in unless Thomas is there. Thomas said it is because Annabelle doesn't trust me at all now. Anastasia won't let me around her children at all. Thomas has told me that holidays were tricky enough, but I have made them unpalatable with my presence. He said that I am invited but not to bring up anything that will cause an argument.
Carla
Ray and I have spoken to Thomas and asked him to speak to his mother about the holidays and the arrangements to have everything and everybody together. I can't refuse a family member seeing their grandchildren on their holidays. This holiday is going to be the first one for all the families to be in one place. Grandchildren will be the center of attention and we will grin and deal with Sarah. I can't believe anyone would do the things she did, but family photos and first Christmas holidays are always important. That we can't deny any grandparent.
Ray
I tell Thomas that he will be in a tricky spot until he isn't any longer and my daughter is to be protected from his mother at all costs. I know it isn't his fault at all and I really am on edge about his mother and what she did, but I wonder what else she has done. So  now I am looking into things and hope we don't find anything.
Leila
I have been working pretty hard and have been recognized for all my hard work. I now have my own home with a nice fenced in yard for my children and mannies to care for my children. As the manager of the new Steele Assistance Company #2 I get bonuses and we offer childcare and all kinds of bonuses and other perks. Anastasia put all of this in motion and I am so thankful for all that she did for us. My boys are thriving and they play with her children when we can get together. I have been invited to all holidays and all family events. They have espoused me and my children into their families. After hearing what Sarah Sawyer pulled on Annabelle and Thomas I have to be thankful not to have a parent or mother in law like her. She will miss out on a lot because of her actions, as my ex husband is now. My boys might miss having a father, they are blessed with so many people who love them. I have met a friend of Elliotts at a recent party. I am sure it is a fix up. We hit it off and he really likes children. He is an orphan raised by his grandparents. Charles Lawson is three years older than I am. At thirty he has been engaged three times, but they were using him to try to meet the Grey family. He knows I won't do that to him. He was a bit skeptical until Anastasia calmed him down and he finally spoke to me. We found out a lot more about each other. He owns his own company who works with Grey construction on a lot of their eco development projects. His company is world wide and the Grey family sought him out. At first he had his headquarters in New York, but when he had to come to Seattle he decided to relocate here and had Elliott build him a huge home in a quiet location with lots of security. His building is a block from ours. He has to fly to New York once a month to go over everything there. At first he had an issue with certain employees trying to pass themselves off as the owner of Lawson Green Objectives. He cleared it up quite quickly and put some safeguards in place. Barney had something to do with helping him with that issue. Luckily all the people who tried it failed because the people they were telling they were the owners knew they were lying. They strung them along and recorded everything. They called Charles directly. They were all fired on the spot and made an example of. He now has his face as the owner on his website and his business cards and billboards. He had to go back through all the projects these people did to make sure what they had done. It took over a month. So I didn't see or hear from him after the first meeting. I thought he lost interest in me after he left. Elliott told him that he needed to step up if he was really interested in me. Anastasia was really working on finding me a guy. All nice, but no attraction on either of our parts.
