Three High School Graduations

Andrew
I watch as mom opens the letter from my school. I might not be the valedictorian. Theodore missed the salutatorian, not by much though. Ava got that position, she advanced further along because Kate instilled in her that Beaty without brains is a waste. So because my mom encouraged Kate to write children's books along with her other writing she decided to work on Ava's abilities and beauty. The boy who was valedictorian was a boy who won a school scholarship and was from a very poor family. Colin Allen Williamson. Dad decided to pay for his full tuition and all expenses to a school of his choice. He had hired the mother and father at GEH and made sure the children had a fighting chance to excel in the world.

We might not have been top in school, we are always top in the eyes of our families. We have so much and others don't, so we were taught to appreciate everything we get. Colin had always worked on his education.
Raymond Grey
I think we are all going our separate ways after this year. College awaits all of us. Dad is having us work at GEH and mom is having work with the Steele company as well. Splitting the time between the two to see what we want to do. I want to work with Mia and see if working in the restaurant business is what I want to do.
Theodore
I am working at GEH and so is Colin Williamson, we will be treated exactly the same. Dad has informed his employees to treat me equally. No special treatment for me.
Andrew
I went to work at with grandpa Grey's law firm at the bottom of the ladder. I know I want to be an attorney and his firm has more advantages than mom's firm does.
Colin Williamson
Mr Grey came to my family after hearing that I excelled in all my classes in the school Andrew his son attended. He met with my parents and not only offered them Jobs, but a home and tuition for a private high school. He also told them if I made top ten of my graduation class that he would put me through college and cover all expenses including my living costs. I did just that. My family is thriving and my sibling can follow suit. I have a sister and a brother. They are working hard to get the same deal as mr Grey offered me. He arranged it for all of us. Mom and dad are doing excellent at GEH. Shawn and Sandra are looking forward to going to college as well. Now if Sandra and Andrew can stop staring at one another, she can keep her grades up. Luckily I remind her that she wants to get her college degree before she gets tied down. I think Andrew might be able to keep his wits about him, but Sandra who knows.
Sandra Williamson
Anastasia Grey answered my phone call to Andrew and gave him the phone, after he got on the phone I was invited to family dinner. When mom heard about the invitations, she decided it would be a good thing. I have a year to go before I graduate and I am hoping to go to college where Andrew is going.
Georgia Williamson
We are greeted by Anastasia and welcomed into their home. George is a bit nervous but he seems to relax when he realizes this is an informal dinner.
George Williamson
All of arrive and we are welcomed by Anastasia, she says Christian is running late as usual, but wants to be here.
Shawn
I introduce myself, Colin and Sandra. All these grownups are nervous and I know why. This home is huge and getting into the gates was difficult. The guards around it are amazing, but I found out Mrs Grey had nearly been killed at an activity by six contracted killers and the boys had several kidnap attempts.
Christian
I come in and find Anastasia talking to the Williamson family, but none of our children have joined them. I excuse myself and get the children and we finally have a pleasant conversation amongst all of us. We have met the children before, but now that Andrew and Sandra have started dating we think it is time to get to know one another better. Anastasia said it is important to make sure they know we approve of Sandra and that they approve of Andrew.
Anastasia
We finally get to the dinner table and questions go around the table. I sit and watch and listen most are questions from the children. George asks me what I think about Andrew dating Sandra and I tell him he is 18 and as such is an adult and even though I would love to see him graduate from college. Married couples can go to college if they wish and we have the ability to assure they get their education they wish to get.
George
Well she isn't 18 yet and has a year to go in high school, so I would like her to graduate and get the top ten percent to get her college paid for as well. So I would like them to slow down a bit and wait until she graduates at top ten percent.
Georgia
Are you aware of this? I show them the engagement ring on Sandra's finger.
Christian
I didn't think he was going to ask her this soon, I thought he would wait until she got her high school diploma and turned 18.
Anastasia
Well I think we need to discuss this in the study with Sandra and Andrew and us parents. We complete dinner and have our children take Colin and Shawn to the game room.
Christian
Okay let's hear from the couple first shall we, apparently they have plans.
Andrew
Well Sandra and I are pregnant and we want to get married before the baby arrives.
George
I can't believe this, Sandra is this what you really want? You know there are other options.
Sandra
I love Andrew dad and we can still go to college. I just need your signature to get married.
Georgia
If you swear to us you will get your degree and graduate high school I will give you my permission.
Christian
Anastasia what is your thoughts on this?
Anastasia
I want them to be happy and if this is what makes them happy I would hope that George and Georgia will sign for her to marry Andrew. It is our grandchild after all.
Georgia
I thought you would worry that because of her station she is trapping him into a marriage.
Anastasia
I don't think like that plus she is going to be tied down with a baby, and it will be hard on her to get her degree. So if she is trapping him then she will deserve what she gets. Andrew is pretty smart and he has had a crush on her since he met her. She hasn't asked for a thing from him, even the engagement ring is one she chose. It is not an expensive one at all. Now let's hear what they want to do about the wedding. Mom can help with it if you wish.
Sandra
I want friends and family and I would like a traditional wedding please.
Christian
We would like to pay for everything after all my son got your daughter pregnant. Is that okay with you George?
George
I have no doubt she would get a nice wedding if you pay for it and I doubt we have the money to do it ourselves.
Georgia
I suspect we have been hoodwinked by these two young people. They have been engaged for six months. I found the ring not long after he asked her. So they planned all this out. A June wedding, she returns to school and graduates early, that is why she was looking at early graduation.
Sandra
We just wanted to start college together. I have one class to complete over summer and I made the top two percent of my class.
Anastasia
Well if everyone is agreeable let's talk wedding plans. We need to get the marriage licenses. Then we have to go get Carla involved and wedding dresses. Sandra have you and Andrew decided on what you want and the date? Mom can help on all of this if you like.
Georgia
Anastasia we can get together and plan everything with Sandra if that is okay with you.
Christian
Georgia take the time off with pay and get what you and Sandra want, Anastasia will pay for all of it. I will get the tuxes for the men. You get the dresses and everything else Anastasia. We have children that found a way to be together earlier. I might not have made the choice they have, but our grandchild will never suffer and neither will our children. If we are done let's go tell our children about the upcoming wedding shall we?
