He did it. He left. He actually fucking left. We didn't see him the entire day and when Gwen came up to us she pulled out a letter.
"To Gwen and Campers,
As you all have made it very clear you don't want me here, I have talked to Cameron Cambell and I have resigned. You only have one month plus this week left. I will not be coming back, enjoy the rest of your David-free lifes.-David" Gwen read.
It didn't take long before the rest of us started the celebrate that he finally left. We finally didn't have to deal with his fake happy attitude. No one that happy is actually happy, there's no way someone like that exists. He had to have a weak spot and I hit it. He finally left for good and we didn't need to deal with his shit for the rest of this hell of a month.
The semi-party ended and we all went back to our tents. We could just chill since we didn't have to wake up early to do anything, and Gwen doesn't give a shit. But someone had to ruin it, and that someone was Space Kid.
"Isn't it weird that he didn't put 'love David' or 'your favorite consler David'? He does that with all of his letters..." He pointed out.
Neil joined in the conversation, "That is a bit strange. He would also add a P.S. for Max or where he was going."
"So what? He finally left and soon we could go back home," I added.
I didn't give a shit about being here or at home. All that mattered was that David was gone forever. None of us had to deal with a shitty fake smile, or a shitty happy attitude.
Space Kid entered his tent, Neil entered ours and went to sleep. Tomorrow was gonna be a better day without David. Still hell, but a bit better.
