War day 2 (night) pt.1

This chapter gets a little dark so here's your warning.

Momo wanted to pull her own hair out, the water distribution plant was slowly getting under control, the entire western district had gone up with every alarm possible only for them to be fake, but the worst part was the absolute destruction and fire in the southern district. Now while Momo's confidence had grown throughout the year this was absolutely too much. She couldn't get into contact with her leader so she had to have everyone check on the explosions. Sitting down in the surveillance room Momo checked through the cameras as the rest of her team had finally found Bakugou getting mobbed by civilians.

Setting her head down Momo just couldn't believe her position, 'This is insane. Midoryia shouldn't have caused this much trouble.' She wished she hadn't listened to the classes and actually prepared.

"Hey, Yaomomo are you ok?"

turning her head Momo saw Mina coming in with a cup of tea, they hadn't had any trouble at the HQ since the fires were extinguished. "Im fine Mina just tired... where is Kosei-san?"

"He's guarding the hole in the tower I just thought I should bring you some tea." Setting down the mug next to Momo, Mina sat down on the surveillance room table looking at the cameras. "See anything?"

"No, I hadn't spotted Midoryia once, I don't understand how he can avoid every camera in the city."

"It's alright girl, you'll find him! It's barely reaching sundown." Looking through the cameras both girls saw the horizon barely setting. Sighing Momo smiled it really helped that Mina could keep her cheeriness up.

"Thanks, Mina."

"Mmmhmm!" smiling brightly Mina swayed her legs when she spoke some more, "So Yaomomo what do you think about Midori after all of this?"

"I don't know how to answer that, on one hand, I fear him but on the other, the stuttering boy from the first day comes back to mind. What he has done is strange, he broke Ibara, she's still sitting in her room." Propping her head Momo saw Mina jump off the desk before facing her.

"Yeah, but it'll be ok! Im sure Midori is just doing this for the game, but if I knew he was this smart to plan all this I would have trained harder." Smiling at each other a cold chill settled in the room and they froze as another voice entered the room.

"Thank you Ashido I deeply appreciate your kind words...It's a relief to hear that from someone so...naive."

Slowly turning Momo and Mina saw Lucifer walking into the room tightening the glove on his hand and wiping some blood off his face. Before they could react Mina's head was wrapped in a black substance before Lucifer yanked his arm down sending Mina into the surveillance room controls causing a shortage to erupt and Mina to go limp as the cameras all cut to black destroyed.

Jumping out of her chair Momo created a staff she had never seen something like that before and Lucifer was the one who had it. "S-" Momo couldn't even get a single word out as Lucifer quirk activated grabbed her by the mouth hitting the staff out of her hand before he slammed her head into the desk stunning Momo as her vision became blurred for a minute.

"did you really try and tell me to stop? How incompetent are you?" Leaning in Lucifers face was right in front of Momo's as he grinned under his mask, taunting Momo's insecurity. Though Momo didn't give up instead she bit down on Lucifer's hand trying to escape, though her bite did little but have Lucifer bang her head into the desk again, "do it again I dare you." Glaring right into Momo's eyes Lucifer saw the girl freeze again.
