It wasn't uncommon in this world for a kid to look out a window and see a hero pass by, and it also wasn't uncommon for that child to suddenly gain not only a sense of amazement but admiration. Hawks was no exception to this rule, however unlike many he had the opportunity to be so much more. Having been recruited by the HPSC like the former hero Lady Nagant Hawks was one of the most qualified people in the world to be a top-ranking hero and a hero that worked behind the scenes to do what was necessary.

That was why when he killed an innocent man to infiltrate the league he felt no remorse. when he came face to face with Dabi and hundreds of villains there was no fear in his eyes or actions. So why now? Why did the man in front of him cause so much fear? Perhaps it was because Hawks could not discern what the man was thinking. Keigo while not cocky prided himself on his intelligence and his ability to pick apart whoever he needs to while using the knowledge to his advantage.

However, in the locked embrace between his hand and Lucifer's his eyes looked at the man's face. The villain's slit pupil eyes along with the man's red mask that looked like it was about to bite his head off served to both unnerve and squander any chance Hawks had at detecting emotion within Lucifer's eyes. No, it's more accurate to say that there wasn't any emotion at all. Hawks opened his mouth he had to speak he had been silent for far too long.

"Thank you, Lucifer, Not only is it an honor to serve your vessels but you as well." Hawks bowed his head eyes closed, he could still feel the tightness in Lucifer's grip it growing stronger every second before he heard what he needed to. Hawks awaited Lucifer's response his head raising so a smile could be seen. Still, after saying this the fear he felt from earlier only amplified as Lucifer's eyes bore holes into his very soul. tightening his grip Hawks refused to waiver. this man who had come out of nowhere killed the successor of All for One and took over the paranormal liberation army in one fell swoop would not deter him from his goal.

A satisfied grin appeared on Lucifer's face as the man nodded his head, "Good I'm glad to see that there is another competent liar among the rest."

Hawks' eyes widened just a bit, the back of his neck rising in temperature as a cold sweat broke out. His smile was still strong, "What do you mean I don't understand?" small segments of Hawk's wing broke off moving to the hero's free hand to form a knife if things went south here he needed to escape but the hero froze when he looked at Lucifer, 'there's no way I leave is there?' his thought was not unwarranted as within Lucifer's growing grip and narrowing eyes it was obvious there wasn't a chance he could get out of here without his limbs first being torn off.

"Dabi your nothing but a disappointment letting your petty vengeance against your father blind you to the biggest threat." Lucifer looked past the hero in front of him to glare at Dabi the scarred villain confused as he stepped back. Lucifer's gray lightning surged around his hand as he closed his left snapping Hawks' fingers before pulling the man in. Lucifer's stare never left Dabi's face as his right hand buried itself into Hawks' flank.

The winged hero didn't struggle as he gasped for air, instead, a self-deprecating grin stretched across his face. as Lucifer pulled his hand back, the man's push dagger had pierced between Hawks' 4th and 5th rib with ease, the silver blade coated in blood. Droplets hit the floor eliminating the silence in the room before using his left hand Lucifer pushed the injured hero to the floor. Raising his foot Lucifer stomped on Hawks' stomach crouching to place a small device on his chest before stepping over the man to walk towards Dabi the villain not moving an inch as Lucifer got closer.

Lucifer raised his right hand putting the tip of his blade underneath the first staple on the right side of Dabi's face. "You forget your place Dabi, Shigaraki isn't your leader anymore. No longer are you an individual. You work under me. Under my leadership, under my orders." Slashing with his dagger Dabi let out a blood-curdling scream as he dropped to the floor holding his face. Small metallic clinks on the floor revealed bloodied staples spread gliding across the ground.
