Japan was in utter turmoil. What was supposed to be the season of rejuvenation for earth after it shed its icy layer from winter had turned civilization into a proverbial hellscape. The wind whipped through the air like blades, the sky was shadowed by gray clouds of hurtling rain that impacted like rocks on the surface. The tides of the beach rose nearly flooding the streets with thunder lighting up sections of the sky continuously striking wherever it saw fit.
Citizens, heroes, and villains all cowered in their homes afraid that one step outside would lead to their demise. There had been no warning, nor explanation for such drastic and abnormal weather it was a phenomenon that no one could understand. What all failed to realize was that there was a being resonating with a power that could either bring the world to its destruction or save it. It was the awakening that caused the earth to be in such a dire state.
"GUaRAhhh!" A scream tore itself from Izuku's throat, his voice hoarse and body caked in sweat. The flesh of his wrists and ankles was torn bleeding as his body unsuccessfully tugged at the leather restraints only making their cuts deeper spreading his blood over the white cloth of his hospital bed. He was still for the most part completely unclothed allowing his markings to be shown on full display. For 4 months the marks hadn't ceased their movement, they swirled in wavering motions as though they were the ocean.
"It is almost completely bare with it for just a few moments longer."
Izuku looked around his vision blurry, his lack of sleep along with the mind-numbing pain of seizure after seizure hitting him had rendered almost all of his senses useless. He couldn't taste the blood that filled the inside of his mouth, he couldn't feel the leather digging into his skin, he couldn't smell the sweat of the hair over his face, every sound was muffled and he couldn't see an inch in front of him. Despite this his bloodshot eyes searched for where he believed the doctor was, a few choked words coming from his mouth.
The constant screams of pain had damaged his vocal cords to an extreme degree nearly enough to cause him to go completely mute. This was torture, Izuku danced between life and death every second he was subjugated to a wave of eternal pain. The pain derived from the nerves in his hand ceased to exist in the receptors of Izuku's body. His teeth by this point had gnawed the plastic of the mouthguard in his mouth so much it may as well have not been there.
'Midoriya the integration is nearly done soon there will be no remnants of AFO nor OFA the shackles that bind you will cease to exist entirely.'
Hikage's voice was the only one Izuku could hear however that too was distorted, how could it not when his mind was being torn apart with only his desire holding the pieces together. There was no way he could last any longer, the heat monitor commemorated this. The heart rate on the screen was completely unordinary at times it would flatline before it spiked up drastically to what was most commonly associated with a person suffering cardiac arrest. On instinct his fists clenched by this point he had gotten used to the burning sensation that filled the fibers of his muscles and the lining of his organs however this didn't make it any easier to stay alive.
At the same time, the pain hit his body there was a feeling of power coursing through him, at first it was a small chill similar to an ember of OFA before it became an ice-cold blizzard. This had continued until around the half of the 3rd month, as AFO integrated further it had combined with OFA's blazing inferno coming to rest finally at a complete equilibrium within his body. Dr.Ujiko looked over the boy a smile splitting the old man's face, things were going better than he could have ever hoped for.
