Izuku laid in bed, on his chest Mei was cuddled into his embrace, the two had got gotten back to the apartment after enjoying a dinner out. When they had gotten back it was decided that they would spend the rest of the night cuddling with each other so keeping his promise Izuku agreed leading to his current situation.
"Izuku will you change every single time you get a new quirk?" Mei's voice was filled with concern but also it had an underline feeling of excitement that Izuku could clearly feel.
Looking down Izuku shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know, ever since a got the quirks my body has been changing, but I hope not I already have to deal with my hair and eye, not to mention my tattoo." Lifting his arm Izuku watched as Mei looked at the intricate design on his hand before her hand reached up tracing it with her finger. She had no idea what it was supposed to be but that just added to the mystery as she pulled down his sleeve, no matter how many times she saw it, whether full design or just a part, it was alluring, to say the least.
Mei took her finger off before looking at Izuku's crimson red eye capturing how the iris looked slit, but what attracted most of her attention was the skin around the eye it looked scarred almost as if it was cracked spreading outwards, Putting her hand to it Mei touched the skin though it didn't feel odd or unusual she did have questions ringing in her head.
"I never asked but how did your eye change in the first place, did it come with your hair and tattoo?"
"Yeah it did, it happened right before the game started, after seeing everyone go to the hero side my quirk reacted but it didn't change until the night I fell asleep." Answering Izuku turned his head so that it was facing Mei, staring into each other's eyes Izuku gave a small smile, Mei returned the gesture until they heard the door to the apartment open.
Reacting Izuku got up from the bed his hand going straight to the hardballer that he had placed beside him. Going straight to the door Izuku looked at Mei jerking his head to the side signaling her to duck behind the bed as he went to the door, opening it slightly Izuku saw someone walk in looking around for something. Without clear sight, Izuku opened the door his grip on the pistol growing tighter as he aimed only to see the back of Ibara's head.
Quickly he brought his hand behind his back as Ibara turned looking at him, "Lucifer, I'm glad you are here." Ibara bowed her head to Izuku as he tucked the pistol into his waistband.
"So am I, I was told you had done some scouting, what did you find out?" Walking forward Izuku looked at Ibara who followed after him into the living room sitting down at the table not minding the gear and gadgets Mei had strewn about.
"Yes, I've found very useful information."
"Well, then I'll be glad to hear it." Sitting back Izuku waited before Ibara spoke, her details were what Izuku had been expecting but she did provide more useful information, she had studied the routes of the hero patrols referencing them with the ones she had been told while she was still on the hero team he was impressed by her commitment but didn't say a word. After her explanation ended Izuku nodded his head thinking, 'So they are divided Uraraka and class 1-a think I might still be out and about while 1-b believes I'm recovering, so they are licking their wounds, sending out patrols just to keep the peace while I recuperate, I suppose I did give them proper cause, I hadn't done anything in the past few hours to insinuate otherwise.'
"good work Ibara I see that God sheds his everlasting light of truth through you." Standing up Izuku thought about what he was going to do before the bedroom door opened Mei stepped out as she looked at Ibara and Izuku. Nodding his head Mei walked out and to Ibara taking his seat before he looked to the ground gathering the pieces of his villain costume he was forced to shed as he was treated.
