You usually wouldn't complain for having to get up so early for school, but yesterday's events exhausted you to the core. After encounter with Baji, you laid in bed replaying the scene in your head.
Were you too harsh? Maybe you didn't leave him enough time to explain why he did it, or maybe he wasn't prepared yet?

Your heart ached every time you'd remember his piercing honey eyes and how they looked at you after he said he missed you.
Throat closing up, you honestly felt like crying.
Doesn't he know already how much his words affected you already?

You lazily skimmed over the contents of your bag as to make sure you haven't forgotten anything, locking the door behind, you walked through the long hallway of the building. Just when you started to open the building's entrance door you heard some commotion from another hallway that connected to this one.
"Yeah, yeah, fine", Baji said to, you were suspecting, his mom as he shut the door close. Your eyes met for a brief moment before you turned your face away from him to push the door open and go outside.

Walking towards the school, you heard the same door click open and close behind you. It was him. And just when you thought he'd go in some other direction, you heard the footsteps not that far behind you.

He didn't say a word as his eyes remained glued to the back of your head.

You guessed that the things he said to you didn't matter to him that much. It's kinda sad when you thought about it again.
What was he expecting to happen when he said he missed you? That you were going to fly into his arms, give him a hug and then make some friendship bracelets afterwards? Hell no.
He took your feelings way nonchalantly and it angered you even more.

"Y/N", you heard him suddenly but nevertheless continued to go through the school grounds ignoring his call. Students were scattered everywhere, trying to get to their classrooms inside on time.

"Oi woman", he yelled out louder this time, his coarse voice catching the attention of few students that were close.

"What do you want? And stop yelling", you said over your shoulder.

"Why are you avoiding me"

'I thought you forgot about that'
Dickhead. Couldn't he see that you obviously still weren't over that thing?

"Think about it a little, I'm gonna give your brain some more time"

"Haaah?!"

"I'm already on the verge of punching you", you said as you turned around to give him a serious look.
You just noticed his school uniform, realizing that you both indeed will attend the same school together.

"Then do it, I don't fucking care, just stop avoiding me goddamit"

Staring each other down for just a moment, you broke the eye contact first to turn yourself away and walk to school. You aren't for sure going to cause a scene so early in the morning, and besides, the first period was about to start.

You haven't seen him at all after that morning. Maybe he skipped first few periods. You couldn't bother to think about him anymore, and instead you went to the library for the lunch time as to take your mind off of everything that has been going on.

On first glance it was unnoticeable, but one small corner of the school library had manga section that you weren't sure If it was supposed to be there or some random students put their old manga's creating it. You wondered If the librarian was aware of the non-school material that this shelf contained? It didn't matter, because you needed a distraction.

Another person was also there, besides you and the woman that worked there, but you didn't pay them no mind. It was quiet that even footsteps were muffled from the thick carpeted floor. The only sound that coarsed through the air was the brimming of the old computer and the pages from the books being shuffled.
Still in front of the shelves, you picked one out, starting to skim through the parts you've already read.
"Since when do girls enjoy mangas about fighting?", strangers voice resonated from not that far from you
Your eyes broke away from the pages so you could lift your head and see who it was.
