So many emotions at once, Baji Keisuke didn't know what to do. He thought that you have just fallen asleep last night, but finding out that you weren't responding to his knocking the very next morning as well had him worried even more. He scratched his head for a moment, pacing in circles in the front of your door, contemplating on what to do. His brows furrowed.

'She might be angry with me so that's why she's not opening up', he thought to himself as his lips turned into a thin line with his eyes shutting close pondering over the matter.

'Or she might be hurt or something', his eyes shot open at once.

He instinctively started searching for the spare key under a small pot of plant, a single drop of sweat gliding down the side of his forehead.
Clumsily picking up the key and trying to insert it in the lock, the small mechanisms finally clicked open. Hurriedly, he burst the door open and started searching for you, only not to find you in any corner of the small apartment.

What were the options he had left? He already checked where you worked and somehow even the fact that you weren't at Hina's or even Emma's place.
He rubbed his temples in frustration, when it dawned upon him.
Did you leave again?

He softly closed the door behind him while exiting, putting the key back where he found it. His legs didn't feel like they belonged to him anymore as he walked backwards, his eyes remaining glued to the same front door he grew accustomed to. His broad back slid against the metal railings and he slumped on the cold floor of the hallway.
He promised he wouldn't act like that ever again but despite his promise, he was left sitting alone staring at the wooden surface of the front door, as If waiting for them to open up any minute.

He's been here before. This feeling in the pit of his stomach and his throat all closed up made him remember the way he felt when she left the very first time, or better say, when he let her slip through his hands.
Deep down he knew it wasn't his fault entirely and a bunch of other factors weighed on you to leave, but, it was his fault for you looking at him differently.

Now you're not here again, not leaving him a single detail on your whereabouts.
His honey eyes still clouded with thoughts, still fixed on the door, realizing nothing has really changed that much.
Your stuff was still there, he wasn't that ignorant, but somehow he felt as as If...

...he had fucked up again.

"What are you doing here all alone?"
Sudden voice broke the silence he enveloped himself in and If an invisible bubble bursted all around him, his head jolted to the side in an instant.

There you stood, head tilted to the side with a questionable expression plastered all over your face.

"Hah?", he uttered all confused, as If he just woke up from a long slumber, his mouth slightly agape upon seeing you standing just a few meters away.

"Dude, are you okay?", you questioned him again. He was being all weird again.

"Where were you?", he followed with his own question, disregarding everything you threw his way. Staggering to his feet, he started approaching you. His hair was a mess and a small cut has found itself on the edge of his jaw. He was fighting again.
It made you sigh with closed eyes, not baring to see him hurt again, no matter how small the scratch was.

"At my cousins place, it was getting late so I slept over...", you pinched the bridge of your nose for a few seconds before letting go and dropping your hand to your side, your eyes looked up again to see him standing right in front of you. There was something in his honey eyes that looked at you with such concern.
"Seriously, are you okay?"

"I'm sorry"
He uttered before his arms suddenly wrapped around you.
He's so dramatic for no reason, you thought to yourself, but, weren't you the same?
Weren't you panicking about him just before you received that message from Chifuyu?
Maybe it was just a little bit significant in the end.

"It's okay", you whispered back while closing your eyes again.
His hug felt a little bit tighter now.
You felt this emotion before, this familiarity...
It's happening again.

"Stop raising my hopes back up, you idiot"
