As I walk to my next class with Nick, I realize he became more silent than before. Something sparked a rage inside him when he was met with Ambrose, like he experienced his first even match.
This was the only class I had with Sabrina. I wanted Nick to get me out of this one as much as he had gotten me out of Harvey's disaster but something told me his silence was long lasting.
"Hello Sam, go ahead and sit anywhere you'd like" my art teacher smiled at Nick.
"Thank you" he gave his normal smile.Sabrina was already sat, but not in her usual spot. She was staring at Nick, something I had not seen yet, was filling her face. I let Nick take Sabrinas old spot.
"What's wrong with you?" I whispered to him.
"Nothing. Didn't you want me to be more quiet?" He faced towards me, glaring.
"Well now it feels weird" I looked forward.
"I'm sorry princess, what would you like to talk about?" He laughed.
"What was school like at the academy?" I perked, finally he was letting me do the talking.
"Why don't you ask Sabrina? She knows all about it." We both stared up at her.She was staring back with gritted teeth. She did not like that Nick was here, anyone could see that.
"You're terrible" Sabrina spat.
"Nice to see you too Brina!" He cheered.
"Guess you guys know each other?" I looked at them both.
Sabrina looked down. Then there was silence. Sabrina must've known he was here, she was probably fuming all day. I didn't understand all this tension between the Spellmans and Nick.
"Good afternoon students, today we will continue with clay animations. Nick, you can team up with whom ever you like."
"Perfect. I'll stick with my girlfriend then! What do you say, Lyds" he smiled at me.I think I'm going to barf.
"I don't care." I spoke.
As the class went to work, Sabrina stared at me in disbelief.
"She's telling Ambrose" he leaned over to me.
"How do you know?" I looked up at him, only a few inches away from his face.
"I see her speaking under her breath. It's the only person I'd expect her to tattle to."
"Why did you call me your girlfriend?" I shook my head.
"You didn't like it?" he moved closer.
"No" I sat back in my chair.
"You must really like Ambrose." He huffed.
"Is that what that was? You wanted to hurt him? That was lame." I scoffed. He started laughing hysterically.
"No it's not. He burns for you, I can see it in his eyes. He told Harvey he'd perish without you" he looked at me as if I were stupid.
"Okay, then I can see how Sabrina burns for you" I shot him his own smirk. He turned away, facing his chunk of untouched clay.
"Harvey also has his own candle lit for you, but in a different way. You make him feel whole, like someone cares about him. I heard his thoughts, they are only of you. Lyds, I'd say you got a big choose to make here" he glared at Sabrina.
Sabrina stood and stormed out of class. She did not like that one. It was like he was trying to stir the pot consistently.
"What is your problem...Sam!" I was foaming with anger.
"Nothing. You just don't like that I'm helping bring you to reality!" He shook his head.
"No you're just being a dick around everyone I love!"
"Oh? Everyone you love? You mean everyone that lied to you?" He looked down.He was playing his game, and I saw right through his shitty move. I was done playing. I stood and exited the room.
"Sabrina!" I called to her down the hall.
She kept walking.
"SABRINA!" I yelled louder this time.
"What do you want Lydia?" She turned, throwing her hands up in the air.
"I want to talk."
"No like in a whole? Because it seems like you want my cousin, my ex boyfriend and my current boyfriend! What else could you possibly take!" She put her hands on her head.I drew back. Did she really think I wanted all of this??
"I don't want anyone! I want a normal life, my ignorance back. You think I wanted a slime ball to live in my house!" I was in disbelief.
"Watch it!" She stormed up to me, like I struck a nerve.Wait a minute, she was literal about the boyfriend thing? She was dating...Nick? Gross.
"Wait...so Nick? You think I possibly want...him??" I gagged.
"Well what stopped you with Ambrose and Harvey?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Last time I checked, both those boys like me! I never asked for that! I've never ever once told either of them that I was interested!"
"You sure seemed interested in Harvey that one night Ambrose almost watched you shove each other's tongues down you're throats." She spat, "you know how that made Ambrose feel! He was in bed for days!"
"I didn't ask for that!"
"Either did Ambrose when he fell for you" she felt hurt.
"This is what Nick is doing Sabrina! He's playing his game! He's pinning us against each other!"
"It's working" she walked away.
